I was seen very quickly, the front staff was very nice and welcoming. The nurse Katie was very nice and thorough. Dr Nazon was very caring and listened to me, fully explained what was wrong and gave me some ways to resolve my pain without medication. Nurse Katie was very skilled and I never felt my injection at all. I highly recommend the Novant Health Urgent Care in Summerville!

My experience was everything one could hope for when in extreme pain and in need of help. The front desk ladies were kind and helpful, the wait to be seen was less than 10 minutes. Doug was outstanding. Funny and a gentle giant. Dr. Alison was the epitome of what you expect one to be. Very thoughtful, heard what I said, and gave each answer thought before making suggestions on what we needed to do. She put us all at ease that we would have a positive outcome . AND WE DID.

Absolutely a cash grab by the front office. I called ahead of time to see if they could perform a particular procedure (get my knee drained) as it isn’t something most standard urgent cares can do. I was told on the phone that I would need to come in for an exam before they could definitively say whether or not they could. Paid the copay once I arrived in order to get my knee examined, and I was promptly told before the nurse even examined it that they couldn’t do that here. I would need to go to the Moncks Corner Novant where they could do it. The nurse leads me out, but apparently the office manager got a hold of her before they were going to refund me the copay so Thu could bill my insurance. So back into an exam room now with a PA, she tells me the same thing (to go directly to the Novant in Moncks Corner) and is apologizing for this, but they are essentially pressured to do this by management. Fast forward, I drive 40 min to the Moncks Corner Novant where I was told they couldn’t not see me in the same day as my insurance was already billed for the day! Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Patient care is a distant memory and billing insurance is the top priority. Would give zero stars if it was possible.

The staff and doctor was nice. I was sick for 2 weeks. They decided to do an x-ray of my lungs. They said my lungs were clear. They didn't do any other tests on me at all and sent me home with no diagnosis of anything, but still gave me an antibiotic. I still don't know what I had, especially to warrant a prescription. However, I did give them an extra star because they called me the next day just to see how I was feeling, which I thought was very nice.

My husband was sick for 12 days. From check in to check out, the patient care was above and beyond. He started feeling better that same night!
