Stayed at the Quality Inn in Summerville recently and had a genuinely great experience, especially considering how affordable it was. The hotel was very clean overall, from the lobby to the rooms, and everything felt well-kept and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the room smelled fresh, and housekeeping clearly does a good job maintaining the property. Like any hotel that gets regular use, there was a little normal wear and tear here and there in the room, but nothing major, nothing dirty, and definitely nothing that took away from the stay or looked unesthetic. Overall, the property was still very presentable and comfortable. The location was another huge plus. It’s in a convenient area with easy access to restaurants, stores, and the highway, while still being close enough to downtown Charleston to make visiting the city quick and easy without paying Charleston hotel prices. Also want to give credit to Robert at the front desk. He was extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating throughout the stay. Good customer service makes a big difference, and he definitely helped make everything smooth and welcoming from check-in onward. For the price, this hotel honestly exceeded expectations. Clean, convenient, comfortable, and staffed by people who actually care about guests. Would definitely stay here again.

Learned we were on the second floor, but there is no elevator at this location. The desk clerk was very helpful and moved us to a bottom floor room. We were traveling for a bowling tournament so we had many heavy bags. I was surprised to find a hotel in this day and age with no elevator even for only a 2 story building. Otherwise everything else was comfortable, clean, and accessible. Water in the sink in the room we had was not high pressure.

We had an amazing sleep last night. The room was clean. The showers had hot water with excellent water pressure and the beds were super comfortable.

The customer service was great however the rooms weren’t in best shape.. my room leaked during a rainstorm and the leak was right above the air conditioner unit.. not safe. I had to get towels from the restroom to clean up the mess. I paid nearly almost $200 for this room and you mean to tell me the rooms were in this condition?

Horrible experience. ! The rooms are desperate needs of repairs and renovation. They are unkept and very dirty. There is mold around the sink and tub in the bathroom. The window frame is broken exposing the rusted metal. The floor are not vacuumed. when walking around in sock you pick up past guests hair on the bottom of sock. The chair has big dirty stains all over the chair. The fitted sheets on the bed have lint balls. The walls have big patches. Everything is documented in photos. Don’t be fooled about breakfast! The breakfast are frozen breakfast sandwiches in the freezer that has to be heated up in the microwave. By far the worst hotel I ever stay in. It’s really disgusting. We stayed in room 114. Also, no elevator!
