We were there during the Christmas weekend, so they were short-staffed. That being said, I will assume the issue with our room not getting cleaned during the 3 days we were there is not the norm. The good: The room was great. We had the double queen studio. They provide everything you need in a kitchen. The room was clean and very dark with the shade down. Comfortable beds and pillows. Shannon was awesome. I've stayed in a lot of places, but she managed to stand out and made our stay comfortable. She was super nice to my children. There is no shortage of restaurants, gas stations, and groceries within walking distance. Decent area. The bad: The pool was cloudy. Breakfast was the same on all 3 days. Their system blocks you from using a Fire Stick, which is lame. It's 2026. This needs to go away. Staff were limited. But the worst part is getting charged a parking fee. This alone will keep me from coming back. And a $75 "incidental" charge is ridiculous for this type of hotel. There is nothing I can charge to my room. I used an aggregator to book the room, and these charges were not on there. Nobody likes surprises. Overall, the hotel is decent, but the extra fees and lack of food variety when staying for multiple days are no bueno. HomeWood and Embassy are better options.

The beautiful Shannon showed me and my crew much hospitality. She was there for us when we needed her and she also gave us advice when we needed it. She was very friendly also as a staff, but she really showed out the most. I really appreciate her as an employee and I appreciate the company. Thank you.

This hotel was very bright and airy, no frills, about 20 minutes outside of the main hub of Charleston, near restaurants and shopping, with a cute outdoor area and fire pit table. The front desk attendant, Shannon, was the highlight of the trip. She was friendly, attentive and genuinely happy to help us with our questions and concerns. Truly a star team member who legitimately seems to enjoy her work and prioritize the needs of her guests. The only criticism I have of the property itself is that there were no liners in the trash cans and “every other day” housekeeping, which in an extended stay type of hotel is honestly just gross if there are people leaving food sit in the rooms for days on end especially in an area prone to insects and pests in a warm climate. You had to ask for these things which I didn’t love. Otherwise not a bad deal!

For a recent business trip, I chose a hotel that was centrally located and near my clients place of business and Interstate. That's where the positive remarks stop. The front reception was not very welcoming. The hotel room had a musty smell. The floor tile was sticky, the carpet was dirty, there was no chair in the room so rather than working at the desk, I had to work on the bed. The TV didn't work & I sent a chat the first night. The bathroom & showers were dirty. Pictures included. Never did get a response to my chat until I complained again today after I checked out. The response lacked apathy. She didn't care. If this is how they treat loyal Hilton Diamond member customers, I can't imagine how non-members are treated.

Our two rooms were clean and sufficient for our needs! Average 2 star rating! Front desk handling of and holding a reservation very poor! 1 star rating! Front desk made us wait 1/2 hour till room was ready, I had my 94 year old disabled mom upset till we were able to get our room ready by hotel staff. 1 star poor rating! Front desk staff poorly handled billing and had know understanding how to manage rooms and billing issues. Refused to listen to patrons issues and was extremely rude and unprofessional and disrespectful to customer! If I could and was able to give a 0 rating or a negative 10 rating I would! Two cases have been filed with corporate office against front desk staff and Gen. & Assistant Manager’s. I have never had too go to these levels to Customer Care & Public Affairs corporate Headquarters division before. Corporate was no help as well. They sided with the Staff of the Hotel! As advised by management of Hilton and their staff they said it was a Banking issue and take it up with my financial institution. So they gave me know choice but to dispute billing with my banking company who oversees my VISA payments! Shame on Hilton’s corporate HQ policies and their entire staffing down to everyone I dealt with. I highly doubt or I will I ever be staying with any HILTON owned property again. Patrons beware!!
