⭐ 3.9 out of 5 Corner House Restaurant in Summerville is a solid go-to, especially if you’re on a lunch break and the clock is not your friend. The staff here deserves a shoutout—friendly, attentive, and efficient enough to get us in and out without feeling rushed. The dining area and restrooms were clean, which always earns bonus points, and the bar is huge—the kind of bar that makes you briefly consider canceling the rest of your day. The menu has something for just about everyone: salads, burgers, soups, and all the classic bar-food favorites. Prices landed right around $20 per person with tip, which feels reasonable for the variety and portion sizes. Now for the hiccup. The grilled chicken on the salad looked like it had been seared by the sun itself. The grill marks were burnt burnt, and unfortunately that char overpowered the entire salad and took the flavor down with it. A shame, because everything else was working in its favor. That said, my guests enjoyed their meals and had no complaints, which helped keep the overall experience firmly in the “good” category. All in all, Corner House is clean, quick, and reliable with a strong menu and great staff. Fix the overzealous grill marks and this spot could easily climb higher—but for now, a 3.9 is a fair and solid score.

We had a fantastic meal at Corner House Restaurant in Summerville! Everything was absolutely delicious. My husband annihilated the catfish before I could even get a picture—that’s how good it was. The brisket chili was loaded with tender brisket, warm, comforting, and best of all (according to my husband) completely bean-free—a heated topic in our house! The smoked wings were perfectly done, and the she-crab soup was rich, soothing, and full of crab meat. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in Summerville.

When we arrived there were very few people there. Are waitress was very nice. The potato wedge fries are very unique and different. It was a great little place to stop on our way back from Summerville.

We loved our experience here last night for dinner. So happy to have a little neighborhood jaunt that actually has good food and drinks. We thought the menu options were unique and had something for everyone, and were also delicious. The peanut hummus appetizer was surprisingly delightful, and the entrees were delicious. The staff were all very accommodating and prompt. Will be back!

First, our waitress was nice and did come back a couple of times to check on us. We were seated in the big room off to the right of the main area, next to the rest rooms, this is after we asked not to be seated at a small table in the center of the room. The room is loud and devoid of atmosphere. New menu seems great. I usually get the backyard burger but I think it was replaced with the BYO. The burger comes literally with meat and a bun. All the sides are extra so by the time you order the usual cheese, tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, onion it is another $4. Bacon is $3. I ordered with cheese, pickles and onions. I got a small slice of cheese, 2 pickles and not a slice of onion but a couple of strands of onion on a stale dry over cooked burger. So disappointed. The concept of a BYO is good but for the price please be generous with the extras and let people know you need to ask for some kind of sauce or mayo. My husband ordered the hotdog which he said was good.
