Carolina Crab House Summerville

Well. That sucked. The food was overcooked, over priced and underwhelming. My husband’s crab was so overcooked it was black. They said that’s the normal coloring but we’ve never had crab 🦀 that black. My daughter also spilled her water and when we said “hey sorry we spilled a drink” the looked at us and did nothing. Like bring me a towel or something to get it up if you give a child a cup with no lid. When we said hey we didn’t even eat the black crab I don’t feel I should pay for it they said oh well. $137 on food we couldn’t eat.

This place is amazing! The food, service and atmosphere is top notch! The wait staff is very courteous - making sure that you are happy and satisfied! Will definitely be back when visiting SC again!

Came for a birthday dinner. The hush puppies were a standout—crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. My friend had the shrimp boil, and it was loaded with juicy shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage—all cooked to perfection. The service was attentive, and our server was happy to make recommendations. Overall, it’s a great spot! Highly recommend the Monday specials here!

This is my 2nd time eating from this location in Summerville. The first time was dine in and the food was good but the condiments were off brand and disgusting. This time was a Togo order with calamari and a crab boil bag. The calamari was great the boil bag, no good at all. There was hardly any juice in the bag and that's one of the best parts. Would I recommend you ordering a tan bag from here, absolutely not! I will not be ordering from this location anymore. Ever.
