GUMBO HOUSE EXPRESS

I recently moved to the area and drive by this place every day. Today, after flying back from Boston, I finally decided to stop in — and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the young lady at the register was incredibly kind and helped me choose what to order. She said everything was good, and she was right. The food was spectacular — fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. Overall, a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Lady at the front was amazing. Told her it was my first time and for a second thought I drove all the way from Charlotte just for the food lol. But was real cool, as well as the chef. The seafood egg roll...BUSSIN.. and the rice with fried shrimp and sauce? Would've drove back just to get another plate lol. 10/10.. keep doing your thing!!

I ordered from here on Ubereats bc I didn’t want to get out and WOW! It was delish!!! I will definitely be coming here again to try it in person. The crab and shrimp and hush puppies were all soo good! Look forward to trying it again!

Been here twice so far. Both times food was great. The first time I came was for my parents. Got them the snow crabs and shrimp. They loved it. The 2nd time I came was just yesterday, my son Loves Seafood boils so I wanted him to try this place. He definitely gave his approval. I got him the same thing I got my parents the first time. The snow crabs was a decent size and the shrimp was definitely Jumbo size. Also I've never had to wait on my orders. Everytime I came the order was ready to go. This is a locally owned restaurant so come check them out!

Went for the salmon bites with seafood rice. Absolutely amazing the proportion sizes were shareable. The amount of crawfish, shrimp, and fresh crabmeat inside the rice will have you in a chokehold.The seafood egg rolls with the boom-boom sauce will have you ending all conversations to indulge in the party in your mouth. Everything was well seasoned.
