Low Country Fish Camp

We tried Low Country Fish Camp for the first time and WOW… this place is amazing!!! I wasn’t expecting to be this impressed over catfish, but it completely exceeded my expectations. The piece was HUGE, perfectly seasoned, and so delicious. Honestly, everything we ordered was on point, from the calamari to the collard greens to the mac and cheese. You can tell they put real care into the food, and the portions are super generous too. The service made it even better. Our waiter was the sweetest, and everyone we interacted with was so kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel even more enjoyable. The only small thing is that it is a bit on the pricier side, but honestly, it’s 100% worth it for the quality and portion sizes. We’ll definitely be back!

Drove past the Fish Camp yesterday. Had never heard of it before. Asked friends if they had been there, and they raved about it. I decided to go for dinner. Had grouper bites. They were excellent! The hushpuppies were a bit overcooked, but tasted fine. Loved the coleslaw and the other standard side, Old Bay seasoned fries. A rustic place, but very clean and well organized. Wait staff was superb. Highly recommended!

Visiting the area and the daughter wanted seafood so Low Country was the pick. Scallop po boy was best I have ever had, excellent. Daughter had the scallop dinner, mom and my sister had the shrimp ang grits and 2nd nephew had the shrimp dinner. Everything was very good, great service and a neat feel to the place!

The service was great. Both ladies were very polite and friendly. I was seated quickly quickly. My food came out really fast, fast considering it wasn’t busy. My fries were soggy. My scallops were over cooked, the fish lacked seasoning , but they fried the oysters perfectly.

We drove by early in the day and it caught my eye, around noon the parking lots were dang near full. I knew it had to be good so we went there for dinner. The service is probably the best service I've had since I moved here a year ago, it gave us that home feeling that it feels like we got here too late to experience in the rest of the Charleston area. Within 3-4 minutes I had drank 3 glasses of sweet tea because I had been going all day and hadn't gotten anything to drink, and that glass didn't hit empty once. She was well aware of how much we had left to drink and what we needed- along with everyone else in her section. The food was AWESOME. At the end of your meal you'll most likely be bringing food home, or be hurting. I did both. The shrimp and grits was a huge helping, the catfish filet was gigantic, and the shrimp platter was huge too. We will all be able to eat dinner tomorrow at the house and not cook lol. I can't stress enough the pleasure we got from finding this place today, the parking was well worth it.
