Have been coming to this office since I was a teenager, have birth control implant that last 3 years, and get paps done every 3 years like scheduled. Called to schedule my every 3 year appointment like always, and because I was two days outside of the 3 year window they refused to see me since I wasn’t an established patient. My three year window fell on a weekend and I couldn’t call due to them being closed. When I did call the next business day, they said I have to make an appointment as a new patient first so they can bill me as a new patient and then they can make another appointment to bill for my birth control replacement and pap. Such a scam and almost a way for the office to make money. Why provide people an implant that last 3 years if you’re going to make them become a new patient every 3 years and bill them for it. The old women’s health partners would never do this. Seems as if they have grown too big and are following a corporate policy almost. Tried to schedule in September and was constantly transferred to someone named Stephanie and she never once called me back from the 3 voicemails I left asking why since I was two days off I can’t still be seen as an established patient. When I finally called for the 4th time she would only say “I’m not going to go back and forth about it. This is our policy. Take it up with billing and this is Dr. Cook’s office and she makes the rules”. Super disappointed to be leaving Dr. Cook’s office, but if I’m going pay to be a new patient I’m going to give my money to a office that is actually new to me. Not someone I’ve been going to for almost 20 years. On a positive note, Dr. Cook’s MA was beyond kind and understanding and tried to do the best she cold to resolve the situation but Stephanie wouldn’t allow me to be seen without being a new patient.

De. Parry came highly recommended as an endometriosis specialist. I made an appointment to see him and he listened to all of my concerns, answered my questions, and always has a smile on his face. I had my surgery done yesterday for endometriosis. This is my 3rd one and it was the best experience I’ve had. Dr. Parry removed a lot of endometriosis that another doctor said they couldn’t find just a few months prior. My procedure went smoothly. My significant other was impressed with how well Dr. Parry did with him and answering questions when he got the call I was finished with surgery. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. I will be continuing my care with him going forward.

I have been struggling with PCOS and hormonal imbalance for years. Dr. Beth Cook has been my doctor for years. I asked and asked and asked for hormone panels to be done and kept being told they were fine. I asked for blood panels and got told they dont do that and my progesterone levels were fine. Well I didnt believe them and im glad I didnt. I started going to Carolina Hormone and Health last year and guess what? My progesterone levels were nonexistent and probably have been like that for years which is why my reproductive endocrinologist doctors think I've has 7 miscarriages. Just think... if my concerns were taken seriously I might not have wasted 10 years trying to have a baby. Well, thats besides the point. After getting my hormones under control, I was coming up for my yearly/annual check up. I called to schedule. I got told I had a past balance due and couldnt schedule. $2,000 balance. I had BCBS insurance during my time of visit and now I have a separate lawsuit because I was terminated 14 days into my 90 day FMLA. So even though at the time of my visit I had active coverage, BCBS decided they weren't paying for my visit due to my illegal termination. AFTER I explained my situation with billing I got told I would not be able to continue to be Dr. COOKS patient by the billing department until the balance was paid. Well, the whole reason I was on FMLA was because my husband had a stage 4 terminal illness and we needed 90 days to make a game plan. So yet again because of my situation I asked if I would be able to get a copy of my medical records so I could fight this. I never received correspondence NOT ONCE about this past due balance. Ive lived at my house for decades. No reason I wouldnt have gotten the mail unless it wasn't mailed. Also cant see the charges on my credit report but some how its in collections? So I got told they would need a record release for my lawyer to have my medical records. Assuming I'm not willing to pay for my records. I needed a statement. Anything to prove this for my active lawsuit. I cant wait going through channels for my lawyer to get it. So I asked to be told how much the medical records would be for me to have my own copy, I never received that answer. I got told she would email me a statement. I asked if theres any way I could be seen while this is going on and I got told no. So I told Billing to let Dr. Cook know she has lost me as a patient because after this and after feeling like I never was listened to about my hormone issue why should I keep wasting my time and effort on this office? The billing person I talked to said she'd see if she could help and ask if could see but I heard nothing back. This office has gone to shit. Good luck Dr. COOK, I really appreciated you putting a lot at risk to help me get my DNC but all the other things have left a sour taste in my mouth. I will be getting my medical records and I won't be coming back. 12.24.91 if anyone at the office wants to call and talk, you can find my phone number. Until then you can keep my 1 star rating. Im so frustrated.

Went to this clinic for my pregnancy. The providers here are all very nice, no issues with the care received. HOWEVER - the billing department is an absolute joke. They force you to pay for estimated OB costs up front but then when you try to get your refund after the birth they do not communicate. I have been trying for months to get back thousands of dollars they owe me with very little response. The itemized bill they sent me had SO many errors and so far they refuse to correct them. I just want my money back. I didn’t even end up delivering with them. Save your money and go elsewhere or make sure you keep every receipt and insurance claim; otherwise, they will steal your money.

I’ve been a patient at this office for about 8 years and have never had the same physician twice. They constantly have new gynecologists due to previous physicians leaving. During my last visit (with another random PA I’ve never seen before), I mentioned an issue I’ve been having (BECAUSE SHE ASKED IF I HAD ANY CONCERNS and I wanted it to be documented), and they charged me for it. They charged me for answering a question. She didn’t have any useful advice; she didn’t write a prescription. She simple wrote down my concerns and billed it. After talking to my insurance company and billing AND calling almost every day for 2 weeks, I still couldn’t get a hold of this PA. I had to talk to a “medical assistant” who explained that “talking to your physician is extra and not covered by insurance.” So if you’re living paycheck to paycheck like me, lie when they ask you questions. Or just don’t go to this office.
