Tiki Taco

We ordered chicken fajitas but first time it came with beef and told the server we don’t eat and need it made correctly with only chicken. After 5 mins again server came and gave the fajitas but this again a small chunk of beef was found. We cancelled the order and they did not bill us also. But felt the food preparation is done in bulk or no consideration of request by guests or server. Felt bad and finished paying and came back to have dinner at home.

Not a good experience. None of the food was seasoned at all, and tasted very bland. The only thing that was seasoned was the side of street corn (eloté), but even that was seasoned WAY too much. So much seasoning that I could not even finish it. The chips and salsa were subpar. The chips did not have any salt on them, and the salsa tasted like ketchup basically. No spices, just a tomato-y taste. The two dipping sauces they brought with the chips were also tasteless, and were very spicy and not enjoyable. Also, these were probably the worst Mexican rice and beans I ever had, and the beans were water-y. I ordered the Birria tacos with high hopes as my favorite Mexican dish, and the cheese tasted fake, and the actual birria/consumé once again just tasted like beef broth with no seasonings whatsoever. My wife loves tacos, snd she did not even finish them due to the tastelessness. To top it all off, both me AND my wife’s stomach felt terrible immediately after eating here. Needless to say I took a trip to the bathroom before I left. The ONLY reason I gave it 2 stars was because our waitress was nice and polite, and never let our cups go empty before refilling them. Unfortunately, we will not be returning here, or any of the other Tiki Taco locations.

This place is a 4.5 for both my wife and I. Customer service was great. The mango margaritas and skinny margaritas were very tasty! Had a nice flavor with a smooth aftertaste of alcohol. The tacos * ( fish and beef tongue for myself, pork and beef for my wife) were above average for sure. You can tell these people take their cooking seriously. Lastly the Wings.... not only were there 8 wings for like 11 bucks and the meat was actually present no skimping on the size or flavor. I usually can handle heat but didnt expect the heat from the mango habanero wings. Someone who had a good tolerance for heat would enjoy these. As for us who aren't spicy heavy individuals blue cheese or ranch are the ticket as a reserve for relief does the trick.Awesome experience. P.S. The chips and salsa cant forget how the flavor exceeding my normal expectation for restaurant salsa

We have blue tacos they were very good salsa chips I have a very good spice to it bartender was very cordial we had trivia night and we had a great time

The cheese dip is delicious! Some of the chips were a little soggy and tough to chew, but overall good. I was highly disappointed that I ordered the taco Americano (3 tacos pictured) with soft tortilla and I received 1 taco with hard shell. There should be clarification on the menu and the staff should ask and verify how many tacos you want because I was too hungry to only eat one taco and my customization was incorrect. There’s nothing worse than being really hungry and getting less food than you thought you were getting. Next time I’ll be very clear on how many tacos I want and I’ll verify before leaving that my food order is what I wanted.
