SureStay by Best Western Summerville Flowertown

Room was clean the price good.The beds was not the best But the TV a lot the channel and all the HBO Channels was in Spanish And it would have been nice to have a an elevator i have a bad leg so walking up stairs was a little hard but it is only two stories . The front desk guy at night was very nice

The lobby area was clean and the front desk attendants were pleasant. The room was fine, you could tell there were some quick upgrades from smears with paint, but still pretty decent. The amenities available were as stated on the website. The free breakfast was fine as well (standard continental breakfast offerings, minus fruit). The only issue I had was with noise- if you plan to stay on the weekends (I don't know if it's a weekday problem or not) you should make sure your room is not on the left side of the building (facing the front entrance)- there is a sushi and taco bar backing against the side lot and there was a DJ and music booming until well after 2am. I could manage but I can absolutely see it being an issue.

I didn't like it at all. First the shower had no hot water the first two nights. Then after I checked out they kept my deposit and charged me for a night that I cancelled the day before I checked in. I wasn't informed that my deposit was being used to pay for a night that I did not stay. I found out a week later after I checked to see why I haven't received my deposit. That's when they told me I wasn't going to get my deposit back. I felt like they robbed me. I drove all the way from San Bernardino California to be robbed by Best Western. I'll never stay there again. And that's my place of birth and was there for a family reunion. August 30th to September 2nd.

I spent five days in this Sure Stay in my own hometown because of plumbing problems at home. This is very nice mid-priced hotel. My room was clean and well stocked. The free breakfast was delicious. Everyone from the manager and desk clerks to the housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. My housekeeper even had a Spanish/English translation app on her phone so we could communicate. Everyone was very sympathetic to the problems I was having at home which made me feel like they cared. All in all, my stay at Sure Stay was a positive experience.

Good location to good eateries. The staff was very kind and very helpful. The hotel is old with peeling paint and chipped furniture with stains here and there. I did find two live cockroaches.
