I stayed at the Home 2 suites in Summerville twice. the first was for 5 days. They didn't clean the room at all on the first visit. I travel a lot for my job, so my job booked the room. The second time I visited, they cleaned it on the second day as per DOP for Hilton. Then they didn't clean it on the 4th day. once the 6th day atrived, I was told that they only changed the towels 2nd day, then changed the sheets 4th and. finally on the 6th day cleaned the kitchen. So every 3 days they cleaned the entire room in shift which is not the standard of procedure. I was not impressed. I also got sick because of the cleanness of the room due to my health. I had to go to urgentcate. My stay was for a week and a 1 and that is intolerable. Once I got home, I did not cough and sneeze during the night.m Management and the owner of the hotel must know how the staff is cleaning the facility and responding to the guests when they inquire about cleaning. It must get better for it to be in a good location. As Summerville, they're going to lose customers.I don't know if it was just me, or do they treat all their customers this way?But I can't believe they treat all their customers this way. I don't know if the selective cleaning, or it's just selective doing their job per customer. But it must change.

We arrived here on a Saturday, and stayed till Tuesday morning. The people were courteous. During our day, our room was never serviced. Apparently we’re supposed to get serviced every other day. We just got sent because they were short on staff. When we arrived, I saw what it looked like chocolate milk dumped out in the sink. We left today. The stains are still there. Trash cans were overflowing Monday morning. This is in the area of a Staybridge hotel, Park hotel in Hampton hotel. I was suspect they’re gonna be cleaner than this place was.

Horrible experience! I wouldn't stay there unless I spoke to a front desk agent or manager to book my reservation. Made reservation through a booking agent, received my confirmation, arrived from downtown Charleston and my sister drove from Atlanta Ga, only to be told there was no room available for me. I can't tell you how upset I was. I have stage 4 cancer, my sister is 79 yrs old, and after burying our younger brother at the beginning of the year, we were looking forward to spending 2 days together just relaxing. What was expected to be a normal hotel check in immediately became disastrous, with every part of my mind and body becoming painful. My sister was so tired from her 6 hr drive, I became the spokesperson trying to wrap my mind around what the young woman at the front desk was saying to me. I currently work in hospitality, and have worked for 4 star & 5 diamond hotels, and everything she was saying to apologize for not having a room ready for me at 3pm, 3:30p, 4:00p, 4:15p was what I had been trained to say as a front desk clerk and concierge at the other hotels when there was a problem that needed to calm a guest down. So needless to say I didn't want to hear what she had to say other than MY ROOM WAS READY! I HAD NEVER EVER HAD THIS HAPPEN TO ME BEFORE IN ALL OF MY LIFE! While we were anxiously trying to find somewhere else to stay, the front desk clerk informed us that a room was ready for us at 4:30p. There was no follow up by management AT ALL! NO APOLOGIES AT ALL! A DECENT HOTEL would have called me in advance to inform me of the problems with the backup of the rooms. I had been calling the hotel front desk from 11am to 2pm to see if I could get an early check in because I knew my sister would arrive prior to 3p normal check in and would be tired. They pulled up my reservation each time and said nothing other than that "early" check in was not available. Management should have been at the front desk apologizing and offering free amenities, room discounts, free return stays, something to ease the problems that the hotel caused...having worked for hotels they have a reserve and/or discretionary accounts to provide for situations where they try to provide some type of remedy to the guests satisfaction, for problems the hotel has created in order to retain a good relationship moving forward... NOTHING WAS DONE!

The suite was very nice & spacious. I loved all the storage and counter space. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were magnificent. I'm picky when it comes to bed & pillows so this says a lot. Bathroom was a shower only, which did make bathing my toddler a little tricky but would stay again.

We like the rooms at a Home2suites while traveling with children. This particular hotel was more accommodating to long term/ working customer residents on the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel for a family gathering or long weekend. The location is great next to Walmart etc. Hotel front desk and manager Adriana/ Cameron have the worst hospitality. There were a lot of hotel staff, but our room was never addressed. My sister’s blinds fell down. No one addressed. Water pressure was weak. Also, there was no lobby congregating, mind you we had about 15 rooms that weekend. This hotel does not accommodate short term visitors. I will not make my next stay at this home2suites in Summerville, and I would be hesitant on my future Hilton stays.
