Motel 6 Summerville, SC – Charleston

The worst experience of my life starting with 2 hours late from being able to check into my room get the room it's dirty the bed is dirty as food crumbs and dirt in it from previous people pillows got stains on them kitchenette had food on it hair all over the bathroom towels the towel rack was halfway out of the wall get out of the shower and girl puts the towel on her head and before she noticed it dry your hair and face and then realize there was human feces on this Towel cleaning supplies they didn't have access because cleaning crew went home they could not put me in a new room cuz they were fool they could not give me a refund because I booked through Expedia it took pictures I took pictures they apologized said they would you know fix the situation but they didn't let me in there all night long and that dirty room with no service to clean any of it no moving into a different room couldn't give me my money back so I can go to a different hotel Mike debit card was charged to a point where now it was frozen and I had no way to go anywhere I was stuck in that dirty room all night and then giving a refund for the two days and asked to go to a different hotel proper documentation stating that I did do everything that I was supposed to do that they did not remedy the situation they would not give me a sign or on a letterhead or anything but they did print me out of statement stating that all those things are fact that that's what happened and that's just how it is then when I asked for one that showed the letterhead coming from motel 6 they denied it to me told me to come back at 11:00 at night they turned out to be very rude to me when at first the woman was very pleasant that gave me the statement then they turn around and say she couldn't do that and now I'm not being treated with any sort of respect I have been very rude to me and refuse to help me with anything I ask for a number to complain she said no I asked for them to speak to her manager I was told no I asked how to hold a corporate she said she could not tell me that they refused to fix the situation in any which way let me complain about it anyway they refuse to do anything now my girl left me because it was humiliating and now she has to go through multiple checks out of the doctor to make sure she doesn't contract getting on her face when she has acne so now it has affected my full-time life due to their horrible condition and service nobody expects to go through a booking service and get a hotel that's been around as long as these guys have what is newly remodeled just go through a nightmare like this I would never recommend this location to anybody I would recommend it gets closed has somebody who has done hospitality and housekeeping maintenance in janitorial work I wouldn't recommend this as a place for anybody to stay very unprofessional except for one person the one woman at the desk that tried everything she could to help me Miss Leah was absolutely wonderful and I wholeheartedly hope that you not retaliate against her for just doing what was right and stating that this was on their fault not mine or anybody else's other than the studio 6 cleaning from that did that room and the circumstances that and then took place she was very polite and super helpful the whole time and on top of it all was having medical conditions that she needed to go have surgery for everybody else involved all the way from Expedia through has been very rude and uncooperative I do have pictures that I'll be posting a video to go with it I hope this makes you you guys make it better decision than what I did if you want my recommendation stay across the street it costs a little bit more but it is a very beautiful hotel with a staff that is so awesome so friendly I'm very respectful the surestay by Best Western is right across the street and I promise you you will thank me later motel 6 ruin your life like they did mine

Great location. Close to everything. Hotel was kind of full and was surprisingly quiet. Rooms are larger than average and exceptionally clean. It’s close to several shopping centers and dining establishments. Definitely a good choice if you’re on a budget.

I wasnt going to post this but the upcharge on a reservation without notice and constant reminders to employees about wash towels and hand towels ( so often we gave up and just bought our own towels so "wouldn't have to bother anyone" )and bed linens, little to no wifi for the last 3 weeks, not to mention used drug paraphernalia ( used heroine needles, multiple syringes and spoons found in our room by my 13 year old son ) enough is enough. To then be shrugged off like its not a big problem.....like you for real?!. Absolutely the worst. I've rented this room now 3 weeks I have reported all this to the manager here and not even one glance or even a hint a to a partial refund as I'm just supposed to deal with this.....

Women with dyed hair was rude at check in, wifi does not work unless you are near the office my room was not. My son was extremely bored. I'm very upset I spent this money to not get what I paid for. I will not be recommending this motel.

I booked for two nights. The heater wouldn’t work, maintenance wasn’t no help until next morning, wouldn’t allow me to get refund even though there was barely any heat especially during a snow storm. Front desk was no help. Highly don’t recommend this location. The room wasn’t clean at all either.
