Flowertown was a wonderful place to stay and a great place to have a shower or event. We had my sister's baby shower here and stayed the weekend. It is located in a nice historic area near downtown Summerville. Azalea park is just down the road. Check-in was easy, the home and gardens were beautiful, and the room was gorgeous and well maintained. Carol was a lovely host. She made breakfast each morning which was delicious. She took care of the food for the shower and set the room up. It was so pretty we didn't even have to decorate. This was my first time staying at a bed & breakfast and it was a great experience, would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a charming place to stay with personalized touches!

We absolutely loved our stay at Flowertown B&B, we only wish that we could have stayed longer. The cottage behind the main house in the gardens was so lovely and comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. Carol was a gracious host and made sure everything was to our liking. Summerville is such a quaint town with fabulous restaurants and shops, and just a 20 minute drive to Charleston. We definitely will be back to Flowertown! Thank you Carol for all the TLC you have put in to your beautiful Southern home.

A touch of traditional class. Lovely owners and exceptional service. Gardens were beautiful and the porch was wonderful for hosting our bridal shower. Summerville is quaint and space is limited. Be prepared to park across the street. It’s just part of the charm of smaller venues. The signage was very helpful upon arrival. Owners have gone to great lengths to address every detail. The little things I would change aren’t enough to warrant anything less than 5 stars. They would be mere suggestions to very seasoned hosts. 5 stars.

We stayed at Flowertown B&B least weekend and had our daughter’s baby shower there. It is so peaceful and beautiful. It is such a charming Victorian home with a beautiful garden, beautiful rooms, and wonderful food. The prices are very reasonable, and Carol was very easy to work with. We loved it and plan to return.

Summerville, South Carolina has been a thoroughly enjoyable destination for my wife and I, and for a number of reasons, including close proximity to Charleston, we knew we wanted to return again in early December. We had heard of the Flowertown Bed and Breakfast and had seen it previously and knew we wanted to book a stay there this year. We spent 4 wonderful nights there recently and absolutely loved the impressive Victorian style home that contains a stunning array of Victorian furnishings and decorations all in a grand Victorian style. The hosts, Carol and Chris Grant had a vast collection of Christmas decorations that were nearly everywhere you looked and all were interesting and different. They even had the long staircase decorated with an amazing collection of nutcrackers of all types and sizes. Carol prepared delicious breakfasts each morning that were quite the treat to begin the day, both savory and sweet. We didn't meet Chris this time, but thoroughly enjoyed our interesting conversations with Carol, who is a friendly and welcoming host. This always means a lot to us as we have always preferred staying at bed and breakfasts over our 40+ years of travels and part of the pleasure in staying in a bed and breakfast is having interesting interaction with the host and other guests. On our next trip to Summerville, we will return to Flowertown and enjoy another relaxing stay in a warm and welcoming setting in a beautiful historic Victorian southern home with great hosts such as Carol and Chris.
