Dorchester County Building Official

(In person)Rude, rude, and noisy...please just fire everyone and start over cause if you don't like your job that's not the people's fault and you guys sit down all day in a/c . I came into this office for help and didn't get it because the ladies are so rude and I can't with rude people especially when I am being nice and haven't done anything to you...(over the phone ) guy was super nice and sent me links to everything in my email and so I changed my stars from one to a 3

Everyone in building permits is so rude. I have called the office and been In there several times and i have yet to speak with anyone that doesn’t seem to hate their job and make it sound as if I am a huge inconvenience to them (office and field). Last time I called to setup an inspection I asked them to look it up by address bc I didn’t have my permit number in front of me and the response was “I’ll try to find it” and then they said goodbye. Guess I’ll wait and hope she finds it...

Need a return phone call so that we can actually speak with the inspectors when there's an issue

Very polite and understanding people. Great at answering questions and very knowledgeable. The lady answering the phone is very nice.

Absolutely horrible. Somebody must light a fire 🔥 under the building permit department.
