Baker’s BBQ of Summerville

Amazing staff who were super sweet and a good amount of chatty. Very helpful and overall great experience. We went during lunch on Friday, so it was pretty calm. We sat next to the waterfall and watched the beautiful fish. The food came out fast, and it was absolutely delicious. You can't beat their brisket and collard greens. Everything on the plate was unbelievably good. We will definitely take the time to drive up here again!

As I walked up to the restaurant, the rich smell of barbecue smoke let me know I was in for a treat. The hash and rice were delicious and perfectly seasoned—just like the kind I grew up eating. The brisket was tender and juicy, and the broccoli salad was perfection (no onions—yay!). The only downside was the sweet tea wasn’t sweet enough for my taste. Overall, I highly recommend this place—this BBQ is the real deal.

If you are headed to Charleston, make sure you time your visit to stop in Summerville and eat some of the best BBQ ever. The brisket, greens and sweet potatoes are a must along with the pecan pie. To top it off, the restaurant is inside a cute little garden center and not far from a small park if you need to stretch your legs after a long drive. Eat here! You will thank me.

First time here and was amazed. We ordered family packs and a couple of extra specials. Everything is great! Quality, fresh, clean, friendly and fun place. Indoor or outdoor atmosphere and private or groups. Lots going on here and the owner is a very well seasoned BBQ expert and hands on. We happened to get a picture with Kevin Baker in the mix of his busy schedule. Friendly fun family vibe with a feel of backyard home values. Thanks for the great food and experience!

We just ordered our son's graduation party lunch from Bakers BBQ last weekend and I would 110% recommend them to everyone. They were excellent about communicating with us and even accommodated us last minute when we needed to pick up our order 2 hours ahead of time. The food is outstanding, especially the mac and cheese and their Carolina Gold sauce. The BBQ was tender and had a wonderful flavor; our guests were happy and full. They are by far the best BBQ restaurant in the area with the nicest owners and staff. Thank you for a great catering experience and delicious food!
