The Ames

Very impressed with this neighborhood. Management/personnel/maintenance/neighbors 5 stars. Beautiful area and community. Well built, fantastic amenities. Additional dog waste bins and a stocked coffee/tea machine in community center instead of cold brew/beer would be a fantastic🤗 Loving life at The Ames.

Ames is a great place to live. I visited other complexes in the area and to be honest, it wasn’t just the amenities, the monthly community events and the cleanliness that attracted me to this place. It was the first staff member I met, Ms. Dee who’s the “Leasing Consultant” and her warmth and friendly manner. Upon my tour, and in person discussion around leasing options and availability, she was pulled into many directions of residents popping in the office to ask for assistance and just to say “hi” and to thank her for whatever she had assisted them with. After considering relocating from out of state and experience with housing complexes who lack in all the areas that Ames doesn’t seem to lack (friendliness,efficiency, helpful to address any issues or questions, maintain rules in place), I decided to move here. Throughout my process, Dee was ready and available to answer any questions I had. Then, on the move in date which didn’t go as planned (because of transportation issues of mine) Ms. Chelsea helped assist me and walked me through the process over the phone and was very kind and patient and helped explain next steps. It was Ms. Dee who greeted me after her work day to ensure I was able to access the apartment. Ms. Dee’s balance of professionalism, productivity, multitasking and warmth was the perfect balance and it’s where I felt I needed to be, even after I sighed the lease. Now, after moving in, there was a work order placed for the fire detector and within 10 minutes, Mr. Mickey from Maintenance came to my unit to assist. He happily asked if there’s anything I needed help with in which I couldn’t figure out the thermostat and he explained it and showed me how to take the timers off. Now, today, I still see Ms. Dee, Ms. Chelsea and Mr. Mickey around the complex and they are the same helpful and friendly people as my first impression of them. I can express how meaningful it is to live in a space that is being cared for and where there are helpful, kind and efficient employees that seem to go beyond what their job description says. It’s the people they are (Ms. Dee, Ms. Chelsea and Mr. Mickey) that have made my transition of moving to the Ames a breeze. So thank you all!

Exceptional Tour & First Impression at The Ames Apartments Touring The Ames Apartments was such a refreshing experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The community itself is beautiful — clean, well-maintained, and clearly curated with comfort and lifestyle in mind. The tour experience truly stood out. The leasing staff was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely excited to showcase the property. They took the time to answer every question without rushing, explained details clearly, and made the entire process feel effortless and stress-free. It didn’t feel like a sales pitch — it felt like being shown a place you could actually picture calling home. The amenities are impressive, the layouts are well thought out, and the attention to detail throughout the property really shows. You can tell pride is taken in both the community and the resident experience. Overall, The Ames made a lasting first impression. If you’re looking for a place that combines quality living with an outstanding leasing experience, this community is absolutely worth touring. Highly recommend!

From the very first interaction, my experience with Ames has been nothing short of exceptional. The process has felt seamless, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. Taylor King and D have been amazing — professional, responsive, and so attentive to every detail. Their communication and care have made the entire experience feel effortless and exciting. I haven’t moved in yet, but I already feel confident that Ames is the right choice. Truly grateful for such a beautiful start.

The Ames has been an incredible place to live!! One thing that I really appreciate is how quickly and kindly maintenance comes when something needs fixing in my apartment. Thankfully this doesn’t happen often, but when something stops working, maintenance is quick to come usually just a few hours after we ask and fix the issue happily and quickly!
