After a few physical therapy sessions for an IT band injury affecting both my hip and knee, I decided to integrate massage therapy into my recovery plan. Truly skilled and legitimate massage therapists are a bit of a unicorn here in the Lowcountry—especially in Summerville—but I was fortunate to get a referral to Healthworks. I’m not being hyperbolic when I say that Shannon is as good as it gets when it comes to massage therapy. She’s an excellent communicator, clearly knows the body inside and out, and her 20 years of experience show in every session. Since working with her, my progress has improved exponentially. I’ll be seeing her regularly moving forward. It’s a shame I can only give 5 stars—she deserves more. And a shoutout to Kristen, Dawn, and the entire practice management team as well—they’re always friendly, helpful, and easy to work with.
First off all the staff is absolutely wonderful!! I love that they have so many things to offer in one place. I've been going on a regular basis for chiropractic services which has been great. I had a very wonderful massage recently and look forward to many more. I've also been doing ultrasonic cavitation which I haven't finished yet but already can see a difference in my stomach area. Found my go to for self love and pampering.
My experience here has been wonderful from day one. From the doctor to the front desk everyone is very nice and helpful and takes time to explain things . The chiropractor has been very helpful to me since having bad pain in my hips and back since having my son. And also the belle sculpt it's something you should definitely look into if you have things about yourself you're not happy with. Seen results after my first treatment. Great place with great people !
