This is a contemporary decor hotel in a nice location. It's convenient(within minutes) of shopping, dining, gas stations, the interstate, and perhaps more. Of note, my bed was very comfy, for sleeping, as compared to some of my stays at other hotels. The rooms were very clean, and for double occupancy, very spacious. I would have given a 4 star rating if not for 2 issues.... the 1st room we were assigned too had most of the lights not working; and the 2nd room had the desk chair in disrepair. It either needed to be replaced or recovered. Due to our short overnight stay and deteriorating weather conditions, we did not have an opportunity to dine at the hotel.

I frequently travel for work and I generally choose to stay at DoubleTree locations. This one was very nice and clean. I was checked in by Margaret, she was lovely. My room was not stocked with lotion, which was annoying, but fine. My real issue was with the breakfast staff. There was a young man working and he was so rude from the jump. He told me I could only sit in the breakfast area if I was ordering, which was fine. He didn’t take my order. No one else was there. Then he told me if I was going to work on my laptop I couldn’t sit in the breakfast area either. I have never had such an altercation at a Hilton in general. Many professionals, like myself, need to work/eat/multitask because we have so much to do. And I feel like this is something every other Hilton I have stayed at understands. I feel like I was mistreated. I looked and there wasn’t anything posted anywhere about not working and eating. Unfortunately, I will not stay at this location in the future.

Thought this was a great place to stay after a long day of traveling. A fairly new hotel, the rooms were nice, modern, and very comfortable. It is right off Interstate 26, so it is convenient to get to from the airprt and short drive to get to Charleston. There are many amenities, and it is in a great area. The iron and ironing board in the room worked out great and saved me time. Would absolutely stay there again.

The rooms are very nice and feel new. The large chaise lounge is enough for the two of us to sit on and wind down for the night comfortably. The lighting is great with ambient lighting in the head board. The mirror is bluetooth enabled so you can listen to music while you enjoy the walk in shower. The coffee bar is well stocked. Definitely a great place to stay the night.

the staff is incredible at this hotel and did everything in their power to make my stay comfortable my rooms themselves had a lot of issues. I say rooms because we had to transfer. First room on the first floor: The bartender ignored the staff and left the bar open until 2am. The lobby was extremely loud and there was a gap under the door. We couldn't sleep. The automatic blinds has a broken remote and came up at 7am without any way to stop it. They ended up moving us upstairs the next day which we appreciated. Second room: Air conditioning was broken. Toilet did not flush properly. blood? stain on the sheets. No Chromecast or Smart TV features on the televisions to my knowledge. Extremely slow wifi. Much slower than mobile data and randomly disconnects. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was onsite laundry. That was out of order unfortunately. Again the staff here is amazing (not the bartender) but the maintenance crew has a lot of work to do.
