avid hotel Summerville by IHG

I have never stayed at an Avid hotel before and will unlikely stay at one again. It is not a bad hotel but is very minimalistic and very small room. Very small refrigerator, no coffee maker or microwave which could be on me but I have always had these things in my hotel rooms. The room was clean with lots of towels. Complimentary breakfast was good. This I good for a one night business trip.

The staff is amazing! Kind, respectful, helpful with any request and just pleasant to be around. I just moved here three weeks ago and their smiles and kindness has meant the world. The rooms and the entire facility is spotless; the beds are dreamy and comfortable. 5 stars for sure

This is my go to hotel whenever I'm in Summerville, SC. The staff couldn't be any nicer and helpful. The entire hotel is clean and spotless. Rooms are very comfortable, bathrooms have plenty of yowrls. The new hot breakfast is a really nice addition. Love the location.

We were greeted with a smile by Mya. She continued to wear her smile each time we saw her during our stay. I would've given the hotel a perfect 5 but the rooms don't have a microwave. The breakfast didn't include a pancake or waffle maker. Outside of those two things, we enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend this hotel. I would stay there in the future.

This hotel is very clean, modern, and the rooms are very nice. The price is fair. It had a walk- in shower and a large screen TV. The front desk people were phenomenal. The one drawback was the room didn't have a set of drawers, just some cubby holes. There isn't a closet but an area to hang clothes. There were 4 hangers and some hooks. All in all, we'd definitely return.
