Sweetgrass Animal Hospital

This is our 4th pup to join the Sweetgrass family (the cream mini dachshund). All our dogs had the best care and love from not only Dr. Askins, but his staff too. Two of our beloved dogs passed away in the last year, and we were met with so much compassion and kindness, as we went through the grieving process. It’s obvious that they take a lot of pride in caring for animals and it doesn’t go unnoticed. 🫶🏼

Can’t speak highly enough about this place. The staff, the doctors, the care you receive is unlike any vet we have ever experienced. Our dog actually LIKES coming to the vet. Above all else, their consistency is unmatched.

Everyone who works at this office is a true angel on earth. Last week we had to make the devastatingly painful decision that it was time to say our "See you laters" to our 12 year old family dog. We had never been seen by sweetgrass before, my mom had taken her dog there and we had heard great things. They fit us in the same morning to do a "quality of life" assessment, and then confirmed what our heartbroken hearts already knew. In the worst moment of our families life, they were so beyond kind, patient, and empathetic. Fast forward to over a week later, we received mail with our sweet boys nose and paw prints and a handwritten card. Not just one print, multiple. My older children were so happy and proudly have already picked where they want to display them. I wont ever be able to thank Sweetgrass enough, our family will never forget them. Every single person who is lucky enough to have a fur baby and bring them here is so blessed.

First visit with a new kitty! Great service, and their office/exam rooms are CLEAN! They truly care for your pets well being. Wonderful staff!!
