My wife and I stopped in for lunch yesterday and did not leave hungry. We ordered mussels, pizza and a hurricane stromboli and all of it was delicious. The garlic butter sauce for the mussels had great flavor and texture, not watery. The pizza was excellent. Great topside and undercarriage with a nice crunch on the crust. The slices are not sloppy/floppy either, even with the pepperoni. The sauce is a highlight, it has fantastic flavor. As expected, the stromboli did not disappoint. The dough was light and crisp. Great ratio between the meat, cheese and veggies. The marinara paired perfectly with it and is definitely homemade. The vibe is just like the mom and pop places back home. Service is friendly and attentive. We can't wait to come back to try the pasta dishes. If you're in the Nexton area and craving a NY slice or another Italian dish, I highly recommend checking out this gem.
First time getting a pizza here. I ordered the $3.00 extra cheese and you can see dough throughout the entire pizza. Then $3.00 for pepperoni and there is less than 20 pieces of pepperoni… the dough is practically raw on the middle pieces. One of the worst pizzas. Next the cheese steak. I asked for the roll not to be toasted. It came toasted and basically a hockey puck. The steak is chewy and the presentation of both are just awful. I’m so tired of giving my hard earned money to people who don’t care about what they “throw” together for you.
I'm sure it's great if I was able to get something I wanted, but I wasn't going to go for a third shot at the menu. They list a lot of great things but they don't exactly have them all to serve you. So I wouldn't know how the food was so it gets a zero. The service, the employees couldn't understand each other. Also a zero. Atmosphere, No one knew what was going on so obviously it's still a zero. Definitely not New York Pizza. I spent 8 years working in a pizzeria on Long Island. This doesn't happen there. Very disappointed. False advertising
My friends always rave about this place, so I finally checked it out this weekend. I didn't get pizza since I just had it, but I went with their suggested favorite, the Cheesesteak. I got the deluxe and added extra meat and cheese. I gotta say, I understand why everyone brags about it now. It was super tasty. I also had the fries, and they were hot and crispy. I'm definitely going back to try other stuff on the menu. This local spot would be above most chain restaurants for me.
