I brought my 8 year old son here 3 years ago. When we first got there, he was a quiet kid, never played any organized sports. We tried everything, baseball, football, basketball, but nothing stuck. First day in this gym he told me he wanted to come back. So we came back the same week. Since that first week, he hasn’t missed many classes at all. Coach Perry has a way with talking and connecting with the kids. In a way that even their fathers can’t get to. He pulls it out of them. We started 3 years ago as a quiet kid that didn’t say much, but he’s flourished into an amazing 11 year old young man, with multiple championships. My son fell in love with Coach Perry and also fell in love with the sport of boxing. I can’t thank Coach Perry, Coach Teresa, Coach Nate, nor Coach Drew enough for the time they put in with my son.
