Charming shop with a diverse selection of fabric, plus sewing & quilting supplies & classes.

I visit the Summerville shop a few times each year and enjoy the layout and types of fabrics available. Years ago I took quilting classes at the former shop in downtown Charleston. Skills learned from those classes are still being used today. I recently visited the shop in Summerville to learn they are downsizing and will only occupy the lower level of the building as the owner is retiring. I was saddened to see the store change and shared my thoughts with the owner in a kind caring manner. However, the owner’s response was confrontational and a bit harsh. I simply wanted to express I regret she is downsizing and retiring. Her response seemed a bit surprising and really unnecessary. I wish the shop the best as the changes occur, but with the owner’s response and the limited fabrics now available I doubt it will continue in the way it has in the past. Another great fabric resource center is vanishing. 🙁

Visited this wonderful shop while on vacation in SC. They have a great selection of fabric and everyone was very helpful. Made a couple of dresses with the material I bought. Will definitely come back when I visit again.

When I walked in, it looked like it was a small two room business on my right when I arrived. I thought, simple, selling machines and that it until I saw a hallway that lead me to the world of wonder with personally, various quotes, samples, all kinds of fabrics, notions and a small play area for your child. The whole building is the store!

Gracious service. Great selection of fabrics, notions, threads, patterns for quilting and surface ornamentation of fabrics.
