Don’t come unless you just plan on staring at the firearms, with no help of course. Went in to simply see if a firearm was in stock to purchase and was informed I needed to grab a ticket just to get in line for assistance. Grabbed my ticket and walked around for about an hour until closing and of course my ticket number was never called(only was maybe 15 max people in the store). Highly disappointed in psa lately. Went to a different location in Myrtle beach yesterday and wasn’t much different, took forever to get someone to help me just to find out it wasn’t in stock. Both locations are over an hour from my home so thanks for the huge waste of time!

Great store. Make sure you price check the psa website before stopping in, just to get an idea. The prices are about the same, if not lower. The pistol slide assembly selection is superb and you might find a good deal. I can understand some of the reviews on here, but after visiting the store I can assure you its just user error. They have a process and that’s about it. Definitely stop by if you are passing through.

It’s busy and sometimes low on staff but those there are always polite, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Bought entirely to many firearms from them to complain lol. Also I might have a small dagger addiction lol😭

Was sooo excited today when I walked up to the counter and saw they finally instituted the "take a number" for service!!! Have been asking for this for years and it's finally here...I love it and thank you Palmetto for finally doing it! Always a pleasure shopping here and now just so much better with the this system in place.

I went in yesterday 4/15 wanting to purchase a firearm. While at the counter a sales attendent was talking to a gentleman at the counter within earshot of where I was standing. The gentleman was telling the employee about his 40 cal weapon and how much ammo he had for it, also that he was considering "taking out" his reloading equipment for his 9mm due to rising costs. Not once did he ask for real assistance, all while I was right beside them looking at guns in the showcase. The entire time I was there, the employee never acknowledged I was there nor offer to help me. He just stood there listening to the gentleman ramble on. This is not the first time i had this type experience in the Summerville store. I finally got frusterated and reported my experience to the manager on duty pointing out the sales person in question. I know that will not help nor the fact that I will never purchase from them again. PSA is not going to miss one customer, but if i can save others from the frusteration of being ignored when trying to do business with them, that will help. I will continue to use their range as it is the most convienient one to my house and the people at the range know how to treat and respect paying customers. DO BETTER PALMETTO STATE ARMORY
