We stopped in for lunch and were shocked at how busy it got so fast during the week. The service was excellent. We got the crab cake melt with sweet potato fries, seafood burrito, as well as French onion soup and she crab soup. Prices here are very reasonable compared to just about anywhere else in Charleston. Our favorite items were the French onion soup and seafood burrito. My only critique would be that the soup spent a little too much time under the boiler as did the English muffins under the crab cake melt. I’m not bothered by char but I’m sure there are some people that would be. Crab cake melt felt more mushroom forward and sort of overtook the crab cake, but I do love mushrooms so again, doesn’t bother me much but I’m sure some would probably disagree. Seafood burrito was a special request for us as it’s on the dinner menu. You’ll pay a dinner price but it’s packed with scallops and shrimp and a hearty meal!

Our Real Estate brokerages chose Oscars for our 2026 Summit and we couldn’t have been more pleased. From scheduling the event to communicating the menu details everything went smooth . April was so helpful. The food was great. Whitley was a phenomenal waitress and took care of all our needs , Even going above and beyond and coming to the rescue with superglue for a mishap with one of our awards . The Azalea room was a perfect backdrop to our event . We thank you!

I really enjoyed my lunch at Oscar's. The food was delicious. Our server, Nicole, was outstanding and very attentive. The she-crab soup was really delicious. It was the perfect bite to kickoff my lunch. Thanks for a great afternoon. The price was affordable with $80 (excluding gratuity) for two people with soup, entrée, and desert.

Wasn't a huge fan of the food, great menu options for food and wine but bland or lack-luster food. I've been here two times now. I both times, not overly impressed. Service both times was excellent (different servers), different dining rooms. Do not have pictures of the first time due to they messed-up the order and didn't bother to replate it correctly. Literally let me eat the vegetables while they re-cooked the scallops and shrimp and then just served the scallop and shrimp on a saucer plate 😵‍💫 This time, had (2) glasses of wine, calamari appetizer, cup of she crab soup, whole fried flounder with fries/slaw entree & sautéed chicken Oscar with crab meat asparagus hollandaise sauce & garlic mashed potato entree. The fried flounder, fries and coleslaw were exactly as expected- fried fish. The calamari was tender, however no tentacles, just rings served with sliced peppercinis, feta and smothered with heavily sprinkled shredded parmesan but overall really lacked flavor- served with sides of disposable plastic ramekin cups of bland marinara & a sweet chili sauce for dipping. It would have been better with a butter cream pepperoncini dipping sauce & salt/peppered flavored calamari rings with tentacles. The She Crab soup wasn't (for me) craveable. It seemed to be a tomato cream base, it had a decent amount of crab meat and I could taste the Sherry, it did have the correct consistency. I try she crab soup at every single restaurant it is on the menu but this one just was not in my top three. The sauteed chicken Oscar appeared to seem like that it was breaded which is not how I would expect "sauteed" chicken breast to be prepared & once again it was very bland, no flavor including the mashed potatoes.. what is also interesting is that I did not see any steaks on the menu.. only beef medalions.. based on the lack-lust flavors, I would imagine that they too would be prepared inadequate. The bill was around $108 & left a $25 tip for our server.
