It’s been over a year since I’ve been back and I came here to watch the Lion’s game. Standard cocktail menu and local bar that you would expect. Large sprawling bar with a lot of seating available. The bartender (John?) he was very nice and greeted me right away. I asked him a few menu questions and he gave me some suggestions. I ended up going with the Smoked Sriracha Honey wings with a side of sweet potato fries. I thought the wings were fire 🔥. Crispy and so flavorful and tender. I enjoyed the sweet and spicy along with the sweet potato fries. The service was quick and the prices were reasonable.

We wandered into Montreux on a Saturday night looking for live music, a snack, and a good vibe—and found all three. The first thing we noticed was the atmosphere. Tucked into the older part of Summerville, Montreux has that brick-and-character feel that's getting harder to find. The staff matched the vibe perfectly. We were greeted right away, and everyone from the hostess to the bartenders seemed genuinely happy to be there. Special shout-out to our server, Vinny, who was knowledgeable, attentive, and helped make a great experience even better. We shared a couple appetizers and were impressed. The wings were the star—meaty, juicy, and coated in a unique coffee-cayenne dry rub that was absolutely worth ordering again. The chicken-and-waffle sliders with maple bourbon syrup were delicious too, though the chicken was a little dry. Bonus points for carrying NA beer. My boyfriend enjoyed a Heineken 0.0 while I sampled a local hazy IPA. I'd love to see them expand the non-alcoholic options because there are some fantastic NA beers, radlers, and ciders available these days. Then we discovered the hidden surprises: a second bar set up for live music and a spacious beer garden with games, TVs, shaded seating, and plenty of room to hang out. Montreux feels like a little blend of old Summerville charm, Charleston character, and modern gathering spot. We'll definitely be back.

Had the best night on the beautiful patio listening to Jason Ayers celebrating friendship and an anniversary with delicious food, drinks & exquisite service! Montreaux is much improved under the new ownership. Well done!

We live 45 minutes from Montreaux’s and we travel here monthly for the food but we absolutely love the service. We have been served by Red every time we are here because she is the best, friendliest and most efficient wait staff we have ever had. Red is personable and has gotten to know us over the months we have visited and we will continue to return. We have tried numerous things on the menu, the wings being our favorite, but we ask Red for her suggestions and she is spot on. We had the pleasure of two managers visiting our table, which never happens in restaurants anymore, and both were attentive and polite. Tray received our feedback and welcomed us to return. Thank you. Don’t mind if we do.
