Konoha Japanese Convenience Store

Walking inside and seeing all the goodies straight from Japan instantly makes me happy. 🍫🥺 Meiji chocolate especially brings back so many fond memories with my best friend who lives in Japan. My first experience here was amazing, and I already know I’ll be a regular. They serve real Japanese cuisine that’s absolutely delicious, affordable and the ambience just feels like home. 🇯🇵♥️

Konoha is a Japanese konbini located right in Summerville! The snack and drink selection was great given it was a soft opening, and the owner is taking suggestions for what else we would like to see brought into the store. I lived in Japan for 4 years and can confidently say his gyudon and onigiri is 100% authentic to what I had in Japan. I had the yakiniku onigiri as it was the only one left (we love seeing the support!) and I can’t wait to try his other flavors! And his prices are SO fair being that everything has to be imported. Absolutely give this place a shot! Can’t wait to see where it goes as it gains more support! 🇯🇵🍙

Amazing, authentic, Japanese style convenience store, with tons of snacks, cup noodles, candy, drinks, collectibles, and fresh food! Everything is imported directly from Japan! The owner, Allan, is very kind and thoughtful. He truly cares about his customers, his products, and the quality of the food he makes. They have fresh made onigiri with different fillings, tamago (egg) and ichigo (strawberry) sandwiches, and much more daily! The store is clean and organized. It is small, but has a great selection and will eventually be growing more and more! I love this store and definitely recommend you stop by and try some goodies! 😸

As someone who got interested in Japanese culture from anime. I've always wondered what kind of food from Japan would taste like. Such as authentic Japanese onigiri, fruit and cream sandwiches, and even Ramyun. Truth is my family used to live in Japan for a small time for my dad's job. But I was practically a baby, so I don't have any memory of it. I'm glad I got the chance to try it. Absolutely love the cream sandwiches. And the onigiri. Especially the sour plum ones. Thanks a bunch. I hope you guys get to have more options and grow bigger. Ganbatte (がんばって) (Google advice for spelling)

I bought the Tamago Sando (egg salad sandwich) and the Ichigo Sando (strawberry cream sandwich) they are amazing. I will definitely be purchasing them again. Very fresh! The Onigiri chicken teriyaki was good too. I love this store and definitely recommend you stop by and try. We have other snacks to try just not pictured.
