Fu O BBQ

The service is impeccable and the ambience is gorgeous. We came here about 4ish in the afternoon so we were pretty much the only diners in the place. First walk in and the place is beautiful. It gives Date night Date Day vibes. Our server was professional and really nice. The food however was just okay. The rock shrimp is really good but the oysters were literally baked/chargrilled with plank bread crumps on top. Literally no flavor. My husband enjoyed his meal. He had the brussels with Katsu chicken over white rice. All in all I feel like a beautiful place should have a broader menu. If I was a drinker this would of definitely be the spot. The bar area is really nice.

Me and my best friend went here for a girls date and we both agreed this place is a 100/10. Food was off the charts, so much flavor and taste. The quality of everything is worth the price you pay. The service was outstanding. Our waiter did everything he could to make our experience an amazing one and he did such a great job! I highly recommend!! The restaurant was so beautiful, the owners really put everything into this place. I cant wait to come back!

I fully understand it was Valentine’s Day and the bar was backed up. Busy nights happen. What I did not expect was to unknowingly audition for Chopped Tabletop Edition where the secret ingredient is ***fire hazard***. They sat six adults at one grill. ONE. GRILL. Realistically, that setup works for four people, not six. There was no cover, no non-stick prep just raw flame with a grate. Food kept catching on fire, and at least twice we nearly got burned from flare ups and burning residue left on the grill. We ended up scraping the grill ourselves like we were part of the kitchen staff. If I wanted to work here, I would’ve asked for an apron and a W2. Drinks? A scavenger hunt. Our table drinks were never refilled unless we specifically asked, and even then refills and bar drinks took about 20 minutes each time. I ran out of my drink early and it wasn’t refilled until I asked ant the end. Apparently hydration is a BYO situation here. Now let’s talk about the rice, because this part deserves its own paragraph. We were told the small bowl of rice was for the whole table because they were running low. That bowl was maybe two cups of rice total, and that’s being generous, for six people. SIX. PEOPLE. I’m sorry, but when you’re paying around $250 for two people (our table was about $800 total), being told we’re running out of rice is wild. That’s not an upscale dining experience, that’s rationing. I’ve been to plenty of Korean BBQ spots, so I know what this experience is supposed to look like. This was, by far, the worst one I’ve ever been to. Between the grill setup that felt like a liability waiver waiting to happen, the slow and inconsistent service, and portions that required negotiation, the entire experience did not match the price point. I don’t expect perfection on a holiday. I do expect not to need fire-resistant clothing and a game plan for acquiring rice. Unfortunately, Fu O BBQ missed the mark in every way that mattered for me, and I won’t be going back.

This place was actually recommended by my fiance cousin and we finally had a time to come here. Me and my fiance came for our 3year anniversary and it was actually great. Food: the appetizer that we got is really good. And our order we got the shareable combos we wanted the A1 but we both ddnt want scallops so we decided on the A2 instead. Service: it's good service even though we both notice our server was overwhelmed ( our point of vew ) by alot of ppl to serve. But very attentive 5star. 😁 Atmosphere: for me personally its nice i mean really nice. But for her she said abit gloomy 😅 Overall we both would comeback and we enjoyed eating at this place. She was just disappointed she ddnt get her so wanted meat WAGYU. Always for next time. Would highly recommend this place.

Had a really great experience here. Going in, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect since I usually go to an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ/hot pot spot, so I naturally compared it to that. While here is a little pricier and not all-you-can-eat, the quality of the food definitely stood out. The meat was excellent—great flavor and a lot of room too add salt/ Cajun seasoning to your liking, high quality, and worth the price in my opinion. You can tell they focus more on quality over quantity, and it shows. Everything we had was flavorful and easy to cook up. If you’re looking strictly for quantity, there are other Korean BBQ spots in the area that may give you more food for a little less in price. But if you’re looking for quality, ambience, great drinks, and more of a date-night atmosphere, FU-O wins hands down—not even close. The wait was a little longer than expected considering it wasn’t too packed, but once the food came out, it was worth it. Big shoutout to our server Joshua as well. He was phenomenal—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. We ended up talking comic books, Marvel, Spider-Man, Street Fighter, and Mortal Kombat, which made the time even more enjoyable. Great guy and great service. Overall, I’d definitely come back. If you’re looking for a higher-end BBQ experience with a great vibe, FU-O is absolutely worth checking out.
