Joan Sallee is a magician or an angel, I can't pick just one. After spending several years trying to get VA help with my disability rating, Joan was the only one who was able to make it happen. She found the previous VA reviews did not even follow their own rules. After what I thought was my final attempt, I gave up on fighting with VA bureaucrats, almost. I decided to give the new VA Rep in Dorchester County an opportunity to take a shot. To call Joan's effort successful is not strong enough. She took about an hour to review my paperwork, noticed that the reviewers at the VA failed to notice that the medical results submitted previously for review clearly identified that my rating was incorrect. She took charge and submitted her review of the record. Three months later I was notified my disability rating was raised to conform with my medical status. In one meeting of about 2 hours, she accomplished what previous VA reps could not do. Thank you Joan Sallee. Thanks for restoring my faith in a system I thought didn't care. Clearly, you really do care!

Joan Sallee and Mr Brown were extremely helpful in filling out all paperwork. Joan went above and beyond with kindness and she is incredibly professional. My husband has stage 5+ Alzheimer’s, along with a myriad of other health issues . She walked us through every step While answering many questions. I hope Joan gets recognized for her outstanding work . And Mr Brown for his follow-up. We are blessed to be in Dorchester County. Thank you both for your service after your enlistment. Shalom

Joan helped us through the disability documentation process and she has been more than helpful with follow-up appointments or call backs. My wife now has her VA rating and compensations. Very pleased.

After scheduling an appointment months in advance to get claim assistance was treated like a burden, talked down to, and had my injuries minimized or dismissed. When I requested to speak to the office supervisor was blown off and ignored. If you're looking to be treated like you matter and want real assistance don't go here.
