Dog and Duck in Summerville

First time being there, had the jalapeño popper dip, and the Philly cheesesteak. Our server Emma was amazing. She explained the menu to me, and it was very attentive and kind. The restrooms were clean. My only complaint was the floor was slippery. However, it looked like it was just mopped. Overall, it was a great experience. I don’t understand why I have never been there before, but I will definitely be back.

orst experience ever 1. No silverware or plates when we ordered Mozz sticks 2. Took 5 minutes for us to even get a waitress and she looked like she was miserable 3. My girlfriend’s drink took a solid 15 minutes after she ordered it. Even better when it came it was a spiked coffe WITHOUT the whipped cream. She asked for whipped cream. 4. Girlfriends water that she got at the beginning remained empty for a solid 5 minutes 5. They gave us 3 napkins. Real generous honestly. Great. One to blow my nose, one to wipe my ass, and one to wipe my mouth. 6. THEY CHARGED US FOR THE 2 DRINKS WE GOT WHICH WE GOT TO HAVE DINNER WITH!!! Horrible what the hell is going on??? How are you going to charge us for putting a bug in our food. I’m sure your management dealt with the situation. Great owner and response to the previous customer who complained. There’s your proof btw and I’m reporting to the CDC too. Guess what?? I also got French fries too with a burger!!!

Only my second time eating at this location for D&D but it will be my last. The service was good but when the food was brought out, we saw something shoot out of my wife's plate and run across the table and I smashed it. I assumed it was a fly or something because it was very small like smaller than an 1/8 of a inch, but then she inspected her fries and we found a baby roach cooked into the side of one of the fries. So beware, this place respectfully could possibly give you fried "roach" fries to eat with your burger.

Excellent service, and a welcoming environment. We sat at the outside bar, and the service was amazing, food was great and came out about 10 minutes after we ordered. Try their house lager. It's amazing.

It has been many many years since we were there last because we said we were not going to go back because everytime we went it just kept getting worse. But my husband and I were over that way and had our dog with us and decided to give them another try. I am glad we did. We loved it. The service was great and the food was wonderful! We sat outside with our dog and although it was cold outside, they had the heaters going. The only thing I would suggest is that maybe they add a clear heavy duty curtain in the colder months. The heaters that day worked but it was getting windy towards the end of our meal and we could feel the cold alittle to much, but only why the wind was strong. Other than that, we throughly enjoyed it.
