DVM Reynolds is the best and he has a wonderful caring staff. My albino pekingese has a very sensitive stomach and started having very large mucoid stool. His staff fitted me in, then called back and got GiGi in early with DVM Reynolds. He did a thorough exam, read through records from her vet in Pa and advised me what to do. She has colitis. So far today she seems much better. Very knowledgable and kind veterinarian and wonderful helpful staff.

New to Summerville from San Diego and brought my Siberian kitten here after a horrible experience and a $750 spay quote at another vet in Ladson. The staff here is incredible with maple and they tell her she’s sooo pretty which she loves to hear. However, she is a vicious beast when it comes to injections (due to the trauma from C. Park vet) and they were prepared when she went in for her spay, gave her a little gas before shots helping her from additional needle fear. The spay was at fraction of the cost, there’s no price gouging here. I would fully trust any future treatment plan they suggest. From the front desk to the techs and vets, everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable and really care. There is typically a wait but to be expected as I feel they wouldn’t turn away an emergency walk in, and I love that. Everyone will eventually have an emergency pet moment and we all need to have a little more grace and patience when a life is on the line. Happy to have found CVH

I just wanted to share how thankful we are for Central Vet! They took great care of our Rebel boy when he had to have emergency surgery. Thanks to the kind hearts and expertise of the team. Rebel is back to enjoying mornings in the sunlight of the front porch.

We have been using Central Avenue probably as long as they have been open. Our pets have always had amazing care with Dr Reynolds and the other vets as well as Nikki and the other techs and staff members. There have been many happy Golden Retrievers who have been raised here and puppies who have gone to loving homes years ago who started out at Central Avenue. I wanted to add that there is a new doc in town! Dr. Ashton Ott had seen our girl the last two times and she’s amazing!
