Been going back on forth on my medicaid application. 11 weeks pregnant with twins. Every time i call the main healthy connections line i get a different answer and half the time the first rep hangs up on me a few seconds after picking up the line. Finally just went into office today and someone there seemed like they wanted to help however the person who could apparently actually help asap wasnt there today. They forwarded my case info to someone available in Saint George and said i should get a call by end of the day. We'll see about that... My pregnancy is already high risk because of many factors outside of it being twins. Medical costs have already stacked to several thousand and i cant just keep putting in on a credit card. Ob wont see me without payment up front.

The worst place ever. I reported a case of inappropriate sexual touch of a 3 yr old by an adult male in his 50s on 3/7/25. The DSS attorney, case manager and their whole department did nothing and on 4/22/25 i after calling the case manager she told me that they agreed to close the case. How do close a case without questioning the alleged defendant???? There is no communication, i have to call a million times to get any response. For the past 45 days, no single day anybody called me with any feedback; unless i text and make phone calls. Nobody made an attempt to reach out to the defendant or do anything, but now they are telling me that they are closing the case because the 3 year old was not able to complete the forensic interview which was conducted after 2 weeks. This is ridiculous and unjustified for the little humans who are not able to advocate for themselves. This whole department is messy and doesnt help at all. There is no need of even trying to report any cases to them. Their attorney doesnt pick up the phone or respond to any texts...disastrous.

I really appreciate the DSS office being around and the new building looks great there's a lot of room it's never too crazy however unbeknownst to me there's some kind of state holiday today but it's not posted on the site when you Google it for the hours and it's not posted on the door that the office is closed the security officers that were sitting inside of the entryway didn't deem it worthwhile to even come up to the door and let me know another very kind woman that worked in the office with the another department when she came up she let me know but it would be very helpful if information like this was posted

Very nice staff answered every question. And if the ladt up front did not know she would find out. Best experience at a social services building I have had.

You’re better off going to any other location. For starters they never answer the phone no matter what day or time you call and going there in person is no better being that the lady who’s supposed to help you always seems to be in a bad mood. I simply went there to see if there were any resources I could use being that I’m pregnant and the lady just looked at a fellow co worker and they both shook their heads no not a recommendation or anything.
