Sink or Swim School

My 2 sons (aged 5 and 3) have been going to Sink or Swim for 14 months almost every week, consistently, and they have gone from not being able to swim at all to both being confident swimmers, with my eldest learning multiple strokes and techniques. They enjoy their lessons and they are invaluable for pool safety which is so important in SC. Recommend to all parents who want their children to learn to swim independently quickly. Our regular instructors are Mr Taylor, Trish and Clint.

Sink or Swim does really great with kids. My son is 6years never swam in big pool before, Clint did an excellent job working with him. He listened to Clint and kept talking about his lesson all day. He really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back. Great 1st time experience! Thank you for taking up time with my kid.

Sink of Swim is such an amazing part of the Summerville and Lowcountry community. My children have been safe swimmers for several years because of all they’ve learned at Sink or Swim. It is wonderful to see all our friends children who have also learned survival swimming and to know that while we will always be poolside that our kids know what to do when they need help. We come back year after year to reinforce their skills and to learn new skills. Trish and the rest of Clint’s team are wonderful assets to the community.

Sink or Swim School in Summerville, SC is absolutely phenomenal, and enrolling our daughter here has been the best decision we've made for her safety. Our little girl isn't even two years old yet, and the entire team has been instrumental in teaching her skills that are truly lifesaving. They didn't just teach her to splash around—they instilled the crucial self-rescue technique, ensuring she knows how to roll over and float if she were ever to accidentally fall into a pool. The peace of mind this gives us as parents is immeasurable. But it doesn't stop at survival! The dedicated instructors have already started the process of teaching her how to swim. Watching her gain confidence, ability, and respect for the water at such a young age is incredible. My son started lessons at 18 months and my daughter at 6 months. It was worth every penny! Clint and his instructors are amazing at what they do. Both of my children learned so fast, no time wasted. Now that we have our own pool, they still prove their float on their first jump in every season. It has been the best reassurance knowing they’re as prepared as possible in/near any body of water.
