This was our first time visiting, and we were really excited after hearing so many good things. We decided to do takeout instead of dining in. The outside atmosphere looked amazing — inviting, lively, and definitely gives a great first impression. The greeting experience wasn’t the warmest, and we waited a bit before someone came outside to take our order. Once she arrived, the young lady helping us was very pleasant and helpful, which we appreciated. The wait for food was a little long, but we assumed it was being made fresh. Food-wise, it was a mix of hits and misses. The grilled fish was the standout — flavorful and cooked well. The collards and cornbread were decent. However, the fried pork chops had breading falling off and was really tough, the rice was dry and lacked seasoning, and the fries and fried okra tasted like they had been sitting awhile and soaked in grease. The banana pudding was unfortunately a miss for us as well but, we are use to a different taste, but open to new versions. Overall, the experience didn’t quite match the hype or the price point this time, but we’re still open to giving it another try — especially dining in — because the atmosphere and potential are definitely there.

Okay place, large, outdoor seating available, clean. Food was just okay to us. Redneck rolls had no distinguishable taste, like a blended mush inside. Fried chicken dinner was dry, sides were diner like. Asked for extra gravy to help it go down easier, we did like the cole slaw. Creole shrimp & grits were okay but the worcestershire reduction needs help, overpowering in a bad way. Drinks on the other hand were excellent. One & done for us.

First time visiting Pages Okra Grill; loved it! We ordered the beignets which started our great meal with a bang; amazingly good. For entrés we had TJ’s Mess and the original Chicken & Waffles along with a butter grits side. All of it was very filling and delicious. I’m a fan of grits, and their butter grits are the best I’ve ever had in my 60+ years; they stand in their own & do not need any additions. The portions are large so you’ll likely need one of their complimentary boxes. This is a great place to eat and the service was also great; thank you Paul R. for the great service, helpful recommendations and you wit! POG has our highest recommendation. 👍

pretty great place! it gets busy, so i’d definitely recommend getting a reservation. the food is pretty good and the staff are all very nice and welcoming. i got the Shrimp Primal salad with no bacon or dressing (brought my own dressing) and i also added a mahi mahi fillet. the seafood was super delicious and the meal as a whole was great!

Awesome once again! There was a wait so… we opted for counter/bar seating. To my surprise it was enjoyable. There were 2 bartender/servers. I got great service. We were in and out before people that were ahead of us waiting for a table. Short ribs and grits w/greens were chefs kiss. All I can say is tender and flavorful. Fried green tomatoes… delicious. I was not expecting pimento cheese with the fried green tomatoes. Perfect pair…match made in heaven.
