Not Your Average Wings

Had a lovely time out with some friends at Not Your Average Wings. Not my first trip and certainly won’t be my last. The wings are prepared with care and seasoned amazingly. Each bite was tender and juicy. The awesome fried pickles are top tier. They were hot, crispy, and crunchy and I loved every bite. The service was amazing and the space was clean. Please do yourself a favor and check out all they have to offer. You’ll love it.

Really good wings with a large variety of sauce choices. The best thing about a wing place is its variety of sauce options, and this place has plenty. I highly recommend the spicy garlic butter! I’ve had wings all over the place but have never come across a flavor quite like that one. Definitely worth the try. Are these the greatest and crispiest wings you’ll ever come across? Not at all. I think this place lives up to its name. They are “not your average wings”. I would say they are slightly above average for sure. However, don’t come looking for the greatest wing experience you’ll ever have. I would say the best part about this place is the variety of unique sauce options. They do need to expand on the side menu items, and they need to get rid of the little ketchup packets for the fries and upgrade to the bottle (please). Also, the atmosphere in this place completely sucks. Ugly interior, not very appealing to anyone really. The inside looks like a run down gas station wing joint in west memphis, which is not a good thing. This place needs some new vibes, some bumpin music, and some updated seating and decor. HOWEVER, even with these slight negatives, it deserves a 4 out of 5 stars. If I could rate it in decimals, it would be closer to a 3.7. Regardless, I live close by and will be coming back here for sure to try more sauces. The homie at the cash register was also mad chill, so props to him. Everyone drop by and give them a shot.

I grabbed lunch here today and LOVED IT!! The 2 ladies at the front were so welcoming and kind. It was my first time there, so they gave me time to pick out which flavor of wings I wanted (they have SO many)!!!!! By the time I was able to leave this review, I already ate my food so I don’t have any photos. I got the 6 wing lunch special tossed in jerk. I cannot say enough good things!!! They were so so good and so crispy. I will definitely be back often!! Best wings in Summerville by far!!!

Telling all my friends and family about this place because their wings & fries are so delicious & not too much. Better quality, faster service & cheaper prices than Kickin Chicken. Their Garlic Parmesan wings were so good! Will be coming back 🙏

The workers were nice , but i picked up my order that i placed inside and it was messed up . I ordered a certain way because i have a picky eater bc of her braces . Well i asked for flats and to separate honey mustard wings . They did separate the wings but the other half was full of drums which i asked for flats. When i came back in to show the young lady that my order was wrong , no solution was offered just “i did messed up”. Now I’m out of 40.00 and im giving the food away bc no one is going to eat it. I had high hopes from the reviews but im actually pissed off . So i won’t be returning after my very first time. Do better guys i love supporting people but it wasn’t hard to put in the order and double check. If you were confused you asked the customer a question again. Of course i came back to add let me be very clear when i ordered i told the white girk at the counter i wanted flats and i SAID I DIDNT CARE ABOUT THE HONEY MUSTARD WINGS being drums but that my set of wings be flats and she admitted to making the mistake ! If you were actually paying attention! Now if she struggles at the register then maybe she needs to do something else . I actually don’t like writing reviews but i did bc that’s not a little bit of money i spend for a little bit of wings that really didn’t have flavor and spice like i asked. Now that i see you have no accountability i will definitely let people know not to ever go there ! Not to even to get their own experience and opinion. Also it smells walking in . I try to be kind but you all suck that’s that !
