I cannot say enough good things about this place. I literally tell everyone about it. My children attend the homeschool class, and this is their very first experience with any type of martial arts. Coach Arden, Coach Justin, and Coach Wes have built my kids’ confidence in the most beautiful way with patience, encouragement, and so much genuine care. They meet each child exactly where they are and gently push them just past their comfort zone, helping them grow a little more with every single class. My kids leave feeling proud of themselves, stronger, and excited to come back. And it’s not just the coaches, even the other kids in the class are amazing. They’re kind, respectful, and so supportive of one another. The kids who have more experience are always willing to help the ones who are learning, and they genuinely celebrate each other’s wins. It’s such a positive environment, and you can feel that sense of teamwork the second you walk in. If you’re looking for a place where your children will be challenged, uplifted, respected, and taught by the absolute best, this is it. We are so grateful to have found this place!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gracie Barra Summerville is an outstanding place to train! The instructors are amazing, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. My two kids absolutely love the classes, and we've seen incredible progress in such a short time. The facility is clean, organized, and has a true sense of community. It’s the perfect environment for kids to learn, grow, and get better. Highly recommend Professor Andrew and the coaches to any parents looking to start their kiddos in BJJ or improve their skills!

We love GB Summerville!! My kids and I have been training here for a while now. My children have gained confidence, and strength while making great friends and learning invaluable skills. I have personally grown tremendously since starting. All the coaches and many higher belts have been so helpful and encouraging. I came in knowing nothing about jiujitsu and feel like I made the right choice choosing Professor Andrew to lead me on this journey. I look forward to each class not only to learn but to see all the friends I have made along the way. I highly recommend this gym!

Gracie Barra Summerville feels like family. The professor and coaches care about each student, on and off the mats. They know the kids by name, push them to improve, and celebrate their progress. My kids have gained confidence and discipline, but more than that, they feel supported and part of something bigger. The gym is clean, welcoming, and run with respect.
