Coastal Kids Dental & Braces – Summerville

I absolutely love this place! From the front to the back the staff is amazing! Milaun and Nartasha up front are so friendly and welcoming and Crystal did an amazing job cleaning and educating us on oral hygiene and Jaliyah explained everything perfectly and answered every question we had. The dentist Dr Jennifer was funny and through definitely our new dental home!

This place is great like always but the lady up front Ally was very sweet and kind and so helpful. She has a wonderful personality and made my family feel very welcome. She even helped me and my husband with some insurance questions. Also the lady checking out was great as well. Love it here

I have always had a wonderful experience at this office on Benton, until today. My kids was examine by Dr.Johnson she made it her business to not only state an unnecessary comment but made assumptions on my personal attentiveness towards my child assuming because I'm a mother of four. She also insinuated that i was not checking because i was unfamiliar with what she asked.Yet she did not educate me on the matter at all. As a professional her job was to examine and educate her patient. Not give assume and be wrong at same time. And if I was to repeat her comment I'm pretty sure 99% of mother's would have been personally offended. Don't offer your opinion unless asked. Im her for your professionalism.

Ally at the front desk is so friendly and sweet. Didn't have to wait long and was able to get us in/out in about an hour. That was X-rays, cleaning. Floride, treatment plan and scheduled for next appt and consultation appt for braces. All were helpful and kind

The Benton Lodge location, in particular is not the best at all. My daughter was scheduled for a single extraction at one particular time. We got there 30 min prior to what we were told, and the appointment was moved as we were sitting for an hour with no communication of that change. Going back & forth to the front desk, the only thing we were told was “They should be right out in 5 minutes” and 5 minutes turned into an additional 45 minutes with nonchalant staff. I plan to, switch locations, however. I work in healthcare and I understand the need for adjustments, but communication is key if you want to lessen the aggravation with patients.
