We had a great experience at this Ye Ole Fashioned location, and it easily stood out from other locations we’ve visited, mainly because of the service. From start to finish, the staff was quick, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Orders were taken efficiently, food came out fast, and everyone we interacted with seemed happy to be there, which really made the visit enjoyable. The food itself was consistent with what you’d expect from Ye Ole Fashioned. Most items tasted just as good as they do at other locations, which is exactly what you want from a chain restaurant. The sides, desserts, and overall portions were solid and familiar, and everything arrived hot and fresh. The only downside of the meal was the hamburgers. While they were still decent, they were a bit on the dry side compared to what we’ve had at other Ye Ole Fashioned restaurants. They weren’t bad enough to ruin the meal, but it was noticeable and worth mentioning. Everything else, though, was right on point and met expectations. What really set this location apart was the overall experience. The fast service, friendly attitude, and attention to detail made it feel better run than most. Even with the slightly dry burgers, this Ye Ole Fashioned location is one we’d happily return to and recommend, especially if great service matters to you.

I swung by another Ye Ole Fashioned location recently, and this one didn’t hit quite the same as the others I’ve tried. It still has that old‑school diner vibe they’re known for, but the experience felt a little rough around the edges this time. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with fries, and while the portion was big (as always), the food came out a bit uneven. The chicken was cooked through but kind of dry, and the bun was a little soggy by the time it got to the table. The fries were warm but not exactly fresh‑out‑of‑the‑fryer hot, which was a letdown since that’s usually something they do well. Service was polite but slower than I expected, especially considering the place wasn’t very busy. Nobody was rude, just a bit checked‑out. I had to flag someone down for a refill, which isn’t a huge deal, but it added to the “just okay” feeling of the visit. The ice cream, though, was still solid. I grabbed a single scoop of butter pecan, and that part reminded me why people keep coming back. Creamy, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the stop. Overall, not a bad visit, just not a memorable one. It’s the kind of spot I’d return to if I was already in the area and craving ice cream, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for a full meal here.

Stopped by Ye Olde Fashioned Café & Ice Cream in Charleston and I’d give it a solid four stars. It’s got that classic, old-school feel and ended up being a really enjoyable stop. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries and got a scoop of ice cream after. The burger tasted fresh and simple in a good way — nothing fancy, just well-cooked and satisfying. Fries were hot and crispy, and the ice cream was definitely the highlight. Super creamy with a lot of flavor, and the portion was bigger than I expected. Service was friendly and relaxed. It felt like the kind of place people have been going to for years, and the staff treated everyone like regulars. Food took a little time, but it didn’t feel like a problem since everything seemed made to order. Only reason I’m not giving five stars is that it’s more of a casual, comfort-food spot than somewhere you go for a standout meal. Still, it’s really solid for what it is. I’d definitely come back, especially when I’m in the mood for a burger and some good ice cream.

We stopped in for dessert and as always , we had a pleasant experience. Jordan was absolutely phenomenal. Her customer service was amazing and she was very patient; especially given the fact that it was my mother’s first time there and she needed clarity on an item. I highly recommend stopping in for a treat as their ice cream is the absolute best. We are Lowcountry natives, by way of Beautiful Beaufort by the Sea, and anytime we’re in town we make it our business to stop by here. Jordan’s excellent service added the cherry on top of tonight’s experience.

So my daughter and I ordered some food from Ye old fashion main Street Summerville everything was great of what we had ordered except they messed up the chicken on her salad. It was supposed to be grilled instead of fried which the young girl was very nice and fixed. It made another one. I ordered some tater tots and they put them in a paper bag after coming out of the grease and had put that bag into a carryout bag and I pulled the bag out cuz I thought she just you know was taking precaution and I asked the girl behind the counter. Why are they not in the container? Oh we're out when they were sitting on the shelf behind her. Apparently they only put it in container if it's covered in cheese or chili. I have been working in the fast food industry for 13 years and I have never treated a customer like that so I went in today to speak to a manager. Her name is Jen. She's rude. When I asked to speak to her she didn't even come from behind the counter. She stepped to the side and said what didn't ask me. How can I help you and I told her the situation. Oh, we always put our fries and tater tots in the bags since when and then I called the owner and then I get a call from Jen from the store that she's working asking me why. I called and complained about her when I hadn't even spoken to the owner yet needless to say, their customer service sucks
