The cake looked absolutely stunning on the outside, and unlike many cakes that rely only on appearance, this one delivered on flavor too. From the first bite, it was clear that it wasn’t just pretty—it was genuinely delicious. Moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, it proved that a beautiful cake can taste just as amazing as it looks. I’ll definitely be coming back for future cake orders 🍰🥰

Cake was on time and mostly met expectation upon initial view. Very aesthetically pleasing, but I was hoping for some hand made decorations for the price paid. Seller was very communicative. We seemed to have a disconnect in the beginning, and I was hoping for forward thinking and initiative to meet a design I was hoping for. Instead I had to generate an exact picture of a design I wanted to get close to my expectation. The cake itself was ok. I suppose I'm not a fan of the style of cake made. It was extraordinarily dense, and not very flavorful. I believe it's the oil used that makes it hard to discern flavor profiles. I really love the flavor of queso y guayaba, but the cream cheese did not stand out and was overly dense as well. Frosting had a nice rich texture, yet again lacking in flavor.

Excellent pastry, I overcome our expectations, very kind and helpful, I change your trip just to make our wedding cake. the incredible taste. from now on she will be my answer for any time I want to celebrate in my life. thank you very much. my cake was vanilla with cream and strawberries the best I have ever tasted

I ordered my daughter’s first birthday cake and smash cake from Mel Marin’s Cakery and both were above my expectations! She did an absolutely beautiful job, pick up was easy, payment was easy and very reasonable. Will definitely be using for all future cakes.

Echoing many of the same sentiments from other reviews...the cake we ordered and received is a work or art. You hate to even cut into it. But when you do, that's when you get to experience the second work of art in the flavor profiles. What we appreciated most was that Mel's cake is not sickeningly sweet, like most other cakes, and especially compared to highly decorated cakes. The cake was amazing. Our Son absolutely LOVED it (Om Nom is his favorite currently) and it was an all around hit at the event. Pick-up was a breeze and the cake was very nicely packaged for transport. We'll definitely contact Mel again for future celebrations. Thank you very much for a wonderful experience!
