Vii Green worked her MAGIC! I CANNOT GET OVER IT! I'll be coming back forever to feel this good. Vii was patient and sweet and it was such a great time talking to her that I lost track of time! My hair looks and feels great and she did exactly what I wanted with the few reference photos I could procure. She is also a fantastic hype man 😂 Amazing experience! I shared with him that I had a not-so-great experience at my previous salon — my hair had strong overtones and was over-processed. He truly listened to what I wanted and took his time correcting it the right way. My hair feels completely transformed, healthier, and exactly how I envisioned it. I am so grateful for his attention to detail and care. I will definitely be back!

I booked a last-minute appointment at Maxx and I’m so glad I did! My stylist Vi was amazing. She took her time, paid attention to detail, and made sure my hair turned out exactly how I wanted. You can tell she truly cares about her work. The owner was also fantastic — we had such a great conversation while Vi was taking care of me, even after 7 PM. I never felt rushed, and the overall atmosphere from the staff was welcoming and professional. The only thing that affected the mood that evening had nothing to do with the salon itself. Another guest nearby wasn’t happy with her initial color result. From what I overheard, her hair was very coarse, which can impact how color processes. The stylists offered a color adjustment (I’m not sure of the exact term) that added a soft pink highlight to help correct it. They showed her examples and worked to accommodate what she asked for. I completely understand being disappointed if something doesn’t turn out how you imagined — that’s valid. However, the way she interacted with the staff felt unnecessarily dismissive. She stayed on her phone, didn’t clearly communicate what she wanted adjusted, and at one point grabbed the dryer, hairspray, and brush to style her own hair. That was surprising to witness. The young stylist helping her remained incredibly patient and kind the entire time. The gentleman she later mentioned in her review appeared to simply be standing up for his staff and addressing the situation appropriately. From where I was sitting, the final result on her hair looked beautiful. No one asked me to write this — I’m just sharing my honest experience. The team handled everything with professionalism and grace, even while fitting me in last minute. My hair turned out amazing. 10/10 would absolutely recommend. ✨

I am posting so late! I’m sorry! I walked into Maxx studio’s looking for a change in my hair and I didn’t know what I wanted. But my amazing hairstylist Heather Leusby knew what I needed. She helped me from going blonde to brunette and I couldn’t be happier. A she did an amazing job on tinting and waxing my eyebrows as well.
