Kanji Sushi Hibachi – Summerville

I hate to give such a low rating because we love Kanji Goose Creek, but I think this is the last time we give the Summerville location a “chance” . I am only giving a 3 because kanji in goose creek is phenomenal. Otherwise this location would only get a 1 star from me. My family & I have been supporters of Kanji for 2 years since moving to SC from out of state. This has been a weekly go to since moving here…. We spend an easy $60-100 every time we place our normal hibachi orders. We live in Summerville & make the trek out to goose creek because the service is always phenomenal, the quality of the food & the sushi rolls are full and made as sushi should be made. Tonight since we are getting over whatever cold is going around we wanted something simple but yummy. Last time we were in the Goose Creek location the owner urged us to give Summerville another change (after countless bad experiences.) We spent $30 on sushi tonight & somehow both my husbands rolls and mine looked like a child made them. I don’t eat raw fish so I always order veggie (veggies are cheap) yet somehow my rolls hardly had any veggies in them. $15 on two veggie rolls that lacked filling is a HUGE let down. Something that was supposed to be an easy meal ended up turning into a tease just leaving us hungrier. It’s inconsistency like this that makes loyal customers that spend their hard earned money and time go elsewhere.

Some of the best udon beef noodles that I have ever had ! The chef expertly cook the beef plus all the vegetables sauce and flavors were perfect! So Delicious, 10 out of 10 would highly recommend !

Hi! This is gonna be a long one. I’ve been going here for years, i first went here when me and my dad were close, now that we aren’t being there isn’t bittersweet; its just lovely. The memories don’t even come close to the service, they’re so sweet and always very accommodating! The place is so comforting, and i haven’t even got to the food. I love the roll me and my dad used to order and it’s always prepared with easily tastable love. Thank you Kanji, you guys are the best.

Hear me out! Even though my order arrived incorrectly. I called they were helpful and made things right!! AND the most fantastic part. What was an accident, ended up being the dinner I order from now on!! Try the chicken teriyaki hibachi!!!!! So good!!! Happy mistake!!! Oh and try the crispy wonton! Cooked perfectly and the perfect amount of flavorful goodness inside!

We ordered 144.00 worth of food off Uber Eats only two items out of nine total were delivered. One small bag I asked to delivery driver do you think all this food can really fit in a small bag. And now they have only refunded me $6 from $144 order I'm out over $110 bucks still waiting on Uber to refund the rest of my money. And the two items we did receive well let's just say they were below par not even good the steak tatake was cold and nasty
