Biscuit Belly – Summerville

Such a delicious place with a light and joyous atmosphere! The food is amazing and the service is great! I’ve tried a few different things here and everything has been super good. I’d highly recommend to anyone! They have biscuits sandwiches and more sweet options like French toast and pancakes. So yummy!

I was visiting my family that lives in Summerville S.C and my mom suggested this place because my brother from Arizona came to vist her a week earlier and found the place!!! If you live in or you're in the area of Summerville South Carolina I would advise you to make an appointment to stop at this place. The service was 10 🌟's the taste or the food was 1000 🌟's and the presentation of the food looked dentical to the flat screen Tv they have on the wall and it was 10000🌟's!! Trust me this the only resturant I have been too in years that everything on the pictures look just like the food they bring out and taste amazing good 😁. Let me start by saying their special jelly will make you ask for more as soon as you taste it oooooweeeee!!!! The food was cooked to perfection. The biscuit was fluffy and soft just melted on your mouth oooo and the pancakes was so thick and fluffy..Ok let me expalin the process..So You stand in line to order your food then you take a number, then they let you choose where you want to sit and finally they bring your food out to you. They have wooden number holders on the table where the condiments are to put your number in the slot. And as I was casually talking to my girlfriend and we saw they have organic drinks In their machines oooweee!!! I was like what in the 🌎???! I just step Into a breakfast heaven !!! Hallelujah🤣 I have pictures and video 😋 Whoever owns this place needs a serious award for best breakfast resturant in SC since that house was in a huddle 🤣 and another house had a waffle 🧇 🤣😂..... I think you get my point. This is not a house all star breakfast no no no..... this is a gourmet Biscuit Belly Busting breakfast with a splash of organic drinks to wash it alll down!! Hands down the BEST breakfast/brunch I've had in the Summerville/Charleston area so far. Everything was absolutely outstanding, seriously. Perfection! Everything I ordered was so good it forces you to slow down and savor every single bite/sip. I had a work trip ahead and would be driving for several hours so I stopped first to pick up some food I could easily eat by hand. (Online order.) To drink: The Buckeye espresso, milk and chocolate sauce topped with peanut butter cold foam THIS DRINK WAS FANTASTIC!!! Every sip made me smile, I would have this every morning if I could. Main: The G.O.A.T Buttermilk fried chicken breast, sweet pepper jelly, goat cheese OMG Yum. I had to pull over to eat this and kind of broke it apart. At first I thought it was swimming in the jelly - way too much? Not so - these people KNOW their craft. It ended up being the perfect amount for the biscuit to soak up. I started with tasting each element separately - the biscuit, best I've ever had. The chicken breast, seasoned perfectly and delicious. Goat cheese - love it. Just wished there was a little more here! Then the sweet pepper jelly - this is something I keep in the kitchen for recipes and buy different brands to compare. Even bought some from the Bahamas last year. Biscuit Belly's is the best I've ever tasted. Side: Side Tots Bacon & cheddar stuffed tater tots with sweet maple mayo sauce These were SO good! VERY rich. Reminded me of the potato logs that Publix sells sometimes at their Hot Bar, these are just better. The bacon used is crunchy and high quality, really stands out. I tasted the maple mayo sauce - it wasn't bad, I just didn't need it at all. Extra: Bonuts Biscuit donut holes, cinnamon sugar with bourbon cream cheese frosting Honestly this is something I never ever would have ordered but you're offered a free Bonuts when you sign up with them. So I added these and ended up being delighted! First of all, you get so many they seem to never run out. Little balls of perfection - I was happy they weren't overly sweet. Nice thick texture. The sauces blew me away. You REALLY taste the Bourbon in the cream cheese frosting, it was delicious. I also got some kind of berry compote sauce thing with it - the flavor was everything. Very strong and fresh and tasty. I recommend one or the other - if you try to combine the berry with the cream cheese they cancel each other out. Overall I am sorry this review is so long but you must understand these people have truly perfected their craft and are serving elevated food! Even the packaging is above average. This is the place I'd take everyone visiting from out of town. The vibes inside are nice and you can sit outside too.

The restaurant has a cute, light, and bright atmosphere that makes a good first impression. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the setting. I ordered the brunch chicken and waffles, and the waffle was so saturated with butter that it overwhelmed the dish. The chicken itself was noticeably salty. The loaded tater tots were the standout item and were probably my favorite thing we tried. Even the sweet tea was a bit disappointing. In Summerville, where sweet tea is practically a way of life, I expected better. It wasn’t very sweet and lacked the flavor I was hoping for. Overall, I can’t say I was wowed. The experience wasn’t terrible, but it was underwhelming given the hype. The atmosphere is nice, but the food didn’t leave me eager to return anytime soon.

First time enjoying breakfast at Biscuits Belly and we were not disappointed! Great food and very inviting atmosphere. Very clean dining area and employees were mindful. The slogan "Damn Good Biscuits" isn't any kind of lie! Table reactions "Oh my gosh" :OH WOW!" "MMmmmmmmmmm" "oh you have got to be kidding me" Portions were definitely on point, though we did have a little bit of leftovers! A great value and a great location.
