Bellacino’s Pizza & Grinders

Ordered pizza for pick up, it was a little pricey. Ingredients were fresh and generous. The sauce was perfect. The Crust left alot to be desired, more like a slice of white bread than pizza crust, in my opinion a crust should either be crispy or chewy, this was neither. Got an order of parmesean breadsticks as well....it was their pizza crust without toppings. I ate 1 and threw the rest away. What really surprised me was the 8% service charge on the carry out. I always tip service staff, always...I was a waiter all through college. I do not tip hourly employers who get paid a fair wage to do their job. Everywhere I go now there are tip jars, I'm waiting on Walmart to start having a tip bucket in their checkout lines. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again, I will not be forced to tip and if you feel like you are not paying your employees a fair wage then give them a raise and raise your prices if you need to, raise the price of everything 8% more and give that to your employees instead of hidden fees at the bottom of a receipt most people don't read.

I think starting off with the mouth-watering cheesy garlic bread is the best way to start the review. Now that we got that out of the way. This place is legit one of our fav places to go in Sville. We lived in Lima, Ohio for years and they had the exact same Bellacino's. So we had to try it here in Summerville.When we got the pizza, I felt like the food critic in ratatouille. There i was dazed looking into the distance reminiscing. Just eating it, brings back a little piece of the place we called home. Thats what great food should do: make memories. And everytime we go, that is what Bellacino's does for us.....make memories

Perfect little Italian grinder! Stopped in for lunch and got the 4.5” quarter Italian grinder and it was the perfect size for me . So delicious and toasty. My daughter got the cheesy bread sticks and marinara and they were also good. Young lady at register was very nice. They do military discount which I really appreciate. I will definitely be back!

I recently visited your Bellacino’s Pizza & Grinders location, and I was extremely disappointed with the experience. The pizza I received was burnt, and the staff inside appeared to be goofing off instead of paying attention to their work. The overall atmosphere and service were unprofessional and not what I expect from a brand like Bellacino’s. This group clearly needs stronger leadership and better training. Employees should take pride in the food they make and the service they provide. Please address this issue and help your team learn to deliver the quality and professionalism that customers associate with Bellacino’s. When you done in and order a grinder you get a pickle spear. When you order one to go they never give you one. I even ordered and paid for an extra one and didn’t get that either. The food is good but get it together.
