Rotary Centennial Park
Rotary Centennial Park, Summerville, SC, USA
Rotary Centennial Park is one of those quiet, easy-to-miss places that ends up being a favorite once you find it. Tucked beside the Herbert H. Jessen Boat Landing, it’s ideal for a quick nature break, a slow boardwalk stroll, and a few minutes of river watching when you want something calmer than a big playground park.

Boardwalk views and a quick trail at Rotary Centennial Park
The park’s short nature trail starts near the boat landing parking area and leads into a scenic stretch of Lowcountry landscape. Expect a simple walk that feels a little removed from the road, with an observation deck that’s great for taking in the Ashley River and spotting birds moving through the trees.
This is a smart stop to pair with fishing, paddling, or launching a kayak nearby. It also works well as a low-key outing for visitors who want fresh air and pretty views without committing to a long hike.

Very nice place to walk, lots of nature. It doesn't feel like you're so close to the road. Watch your step, though; copperheads camouflage very well here, and spiders like to build webs across the path (none dangerous, though).

Very cute little park right next to the Ashley River. Has boat and kayak launches, some small trails and boardwalks, and waterfront swings.

Dont take from the shell pile they will get mad, also watch out for creeps in cars (stay safe ladies) this is a really good place to take my partner on dates, also a good place to get hate crimed so we stay careful.

Nice little park. I go there to have lunch some days. Peaceful place to park and eat. And sometimes I catch a little fishing there too
