The Freeze Restaurant of Summerville

I stopped by The Freeze in Summerville and treated myself to a sundae and strawberries — and it did not disappoint! The ice cream was smooth and creamy, and the strawberries were fresh and sweet, a perfect combo. It’s a great little spot with that classic, old-school vibe. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. Perfect place to cool off. This was my first time here, and it was awesome.

Seems like the banana split was made first since it was completely melted when they handed it to us. The double cheeseburger that was made so pretty on the menu had lettuce and what not on it. This is what we received. Boosted about tasty freeze. Extremely disappointed

Just left The Freeze. Ordered a XL shake that was nothing but milk and overflowing so it was double cupped. Logan said he could add more ice-cream but it would overflowing more. Smart. I asked for it to be redone, cost to much to not be right. He rolled his eyes. Got the same milky shake back with a clean cup and dirty look, so I asked his name. "Logan" . 1st time I've received this kind of attitude after going there over 30+ years. Just hoping Kevin sees this message.

We have always loved the freeze! The food and the ice cream is reasonably priced for three of us with combos and all with Sundays and shakes was less than $42. You cannot beat that! They're always friendly and helpful.

They Refused to sell me a hot fudge sundae in a foam cup, which is not ideal, but better than a plastic cup ( I put it in A safer container when they give it to me to bring it home ) which will leach chemicals into The ice cream because of the hot fudge. The sale they lost for their expensive hot fudge Sundae outweigh the price they had to pay for that foam cup And lost a loyal customer while doing so.
