My daughter and I attended a showing of Disclosure Day on June 18 at Azalea Square 16 in Summerville. We chose the premium RPX experience because we wanted a larger screen and enhanced sound system. The movie itself was enjoyable, and the theater was adequate. Admittedly, I had not been to a movie theater in about five years, so perhaps I was not prepared for current prices. Buying your tickets and concessions is done through a kiosk. That is where I discovered that a large popcorn costs $12.99 and a large Diet Pepsi costs $9.99. My daughter also purchased bottled water, and even that was $7.99. Let that sink in for a moment: nearly eight dollars for a bottle of water, ten dollars for a soft drink, and thirteen dollars for popcorn. In my opinion, those prices are simply outrageous. My issue is with what appears to be an industry that has lost touch with its customers. By the time we purchased two tickets, two large popcorns, one large Diet Pepsi, and one bottled water, our total cost was right at $90 for two people to watch a movie. That is an incredible amount of money for a couple of hours of entertainment. Now, I must add that had we seen the movie in the “standard” format, we would have saved approximately ten dollars, which would have lowered our final cost to right at $80. Also, the movie was advertised to begin at 12:20 p.m. We arrived early and were in our seats by 12:10. However, the actual movie did not begin until approximately 12:50. I understand that theaters show previews and advertisements, but a 30-minute delay beyond the advertised start time felt excessive and disrespectful to customers' time. For me, this was the last straw. I have no plans to return, and there is a very good chance this was the last movie I will ever see in a theater. If you are planning a visit, be prepared, you've been warned.

Absolutely lovely movie theater! You can order tickets online and choose your seat before the movie starts, that way your seat is already reserved. The popcorn was delicious! The staff are helpful and kind. The ice slushies are really good too. There's small lights on the stairs so that you don't trip in the darkness at the movie theater. Sound is amazing, and screen is very large. The bathrooms were close right outside the theater door so it's a win. There's trash cans inside of the theater right beside the exit of the door so you can throw your trash on the way out when you're done with the movie. There's also free pads and tampons in the women's bathroom, in case you forgot one, so you can use one if you need it for your period. That's very nice of them.

My husband and I went to watch “Send Help” around 10pm. *Service: There was no crowd or wait time. We came inside and paid via kiosk. Pretty self-explanatory. It also took our vouchers that I had won a long time ago. Thank you for that!🙏🏻 We then go to the register to get some popcorn and drinks. The woman employee at the register wore a black-and-orange T-shirt, glasses, and brown hair. I did not get to read her name tag. She was on her cellphone, along with all the other employees behind her and beside her. We were standing in front of her at the register for at least a good 10 seconds before she decided to look up from her phone to say something to us, finally. *Food/Drinks: We ordered popcorn, diet soda, Angry Orchard (Apple), dippin’ dots ice cream, and sweettarts ropes, all of which were fresh and delicious!☺️ *Atmosphere: The movie theatre was very nice and clean, except for the women's bathroom. Multiple toilet pipes are leaking, causing a lot of water on the bathroom floor. My pants' bottoms got soaked. *Bonus: Four huge massage chairs and a lot of different types of arcade games.💯

Disgusting!!! First/last time coming here! This establishment doesn't deserve to be a part of the Regal Franchise 😒 First, there's chaos in the lobby, then as soon as I walk in to theatre 16, I'm accosted by a urine smell which hits you like a wall. Once inside, it's clear that this place hasn't been cleaned in an age and the arm rests are all caked with several summers worth of fat-saturated sweat and God knows what else. I'm thankful that I checked my seat before sitting down and I lucked-out that it was relatively substance-free... After looking around, I can tell you, not everyone will be so lucky 🤢
