I booked Johnnie he did absolutely amazing he went through everything in the beginning looked at my hair gave me his recommendations to get me to where I wanted to be and what I wanted the end result! Explained the process and steps! Plus he’s hilarious! Helped with determining my highlight color! Told me the pros with my hair which was nice to hear 🥰 I got a balayage and cut! He framed my face amazingly! Walked in feeling like I had a mop for hair walked out with a bouncy curly blowout with color that shines and feels light even though I have long hair! Thank you 🙏🏼

Vii Green worked her MAGIC! I CANNOT GET OVER IT! I'll be coming back forever to feel this good. Vii was patient and sweet and it was such a great time talking to her that I lost track of time! My hair looks and feels great and she did exactly what I wanted with the few reference photos I could procure. She is also a fantastic hype man 😂 Amazing experience! Also the owners are a delight and they were really kind to me at the end of the night. Glad to meet them!

I can’t rave enough about my hairstylist, Jess, She listened to what I wanted and not only nailed it, but knocked it out of the park. I have tried several salons in the greater Charleston area and hands down it was the best experience with Jess and Maxx Studio! I definitely won’t be going anywhere else. JOHNNIE Peters was absolutely amazing! From the moment I sat in his chair, I felt completely comfortable. The conversation was easy and enjoyable, which made the whole experience even better. I shared with him that I had a not-so-great experience at my previous salon — my hair had strong overtones and was over-processed. He truly listened to what I wanted and took his time correcting it the right way. My hair feels completely transformed, healthier, and exactly how I envisioned it.
