Four Green Fields Gifts

I come to this gift shop here & there, but unfortunately I had a bad experience this time with an elder lady that works there. I had my kids with me, my sister and my mother. My kids were hanging around by the windowsill with the rubber ducks, with there aunt watching them & I was right there beside them looking at few items and the lady was walking by us and she had a frustrated attitude, huffing and puffing and shaking her head towards my kids.Then she walks off muttering “This is why we can’t find anything in the store” I said “excuse me?” But she ignored me and kept walking off. I shrugged it off and continued doing what I was doing and then she comes back to grab something by us and does the same thing and has the same attitude and then I had confronted her and said; “Excuse me, is there a problem?” She started going off about “This is why we have to mark and discount items because of things being played and messed with, why things get misplaced and that this isn’t a playground for children.” I told her “They’re not running around the store messing with things or breaking anything. They’re just kids being occupied with a few rubber ducks they found to play with by the windowsill & that we’ll put them back when we’re done looking around and that she did not need to be unnecessarily rude like that.” We had a few things that we were going to buy, but decided to put everything back because of how rude she was & left the store highly upset. I understand where she’s coming from to a certain point. But mind you, my kids were not running around, being loud or messing with everything. They were simply standing quietly by the windowsill playing with some rubber ducks, and she was just being very unprofessionally, rude towards us.

The staff at Four Green Fields Gifts came to my rescue!! Called them late Sunday afternoon needing a fruit basket for a Tuesday noon pick -up.
