stopped by El Patron and had a really solid experience overall. The food was honestly delicious. Everything came out fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of place where you can tell they’re not cutting corners, and it shows in every bite. On top of that, the portions are huge. Definitely the type of meal where you either leave completely stuffed or end up taking some home. The value is great too. Even though the prices are a little on the higher side, you’re getting a lot of food and really good quality, so it balances out. It didn’t feel overpriced—just more like you’re paying for a better-than-average meal. Service was another highlight. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Nothing felt rushed, and they were attentive without hovering. Overall, yeah, it’s slightly expensive compared to some other spots, but it’s absolutely worth it. Between the portion sizes, quality of the food, and the friendly service, I’d definitely go back.

Ordered from this place for the first time tonight and it is LEGIT! Their handmade corn tortillas put other places' to shame. Got 3 pastor street tacos and they were huge, loaded with delicious, flavorful meat, and so irresistible I ate all 3 and didn't take a picture! The free chips were thin and crisp, the salsa was super-fresh and not spicy. The housemade hot sauce is thick, loaded with spicy smoked chiles and will hurt you in the best way. I got free cheese dip and it is the best anywhere! Not gloppy, powerful cheese flavor- Monterey Jack? The banderita burrito got rave reviews, and I haven't had my chile poblano yet because I filled up on chips, but it looks amazing! I will consider leaving the house to dine in someday because I know it's even better on-site, and they're definitely in my Ubereats favorites.

Great staff and very good food. I had the shrimp cocktail and they didn't shy on the shrimp and octopus. Every time I order this at different places they rip you off with the seafood. El Patrin Jr did there cocktail with alot of seafood. This place was well worth the stop. Keep up the good work El Patron Jr.

First and last time ever trying this restaurant. Although the food came out hot it was very bland no taste at all to me, we were a party of six and we all place our order together 1. four orders came out together 2. Then kid order came out 15 minutes after the first order 3. The last order came out 35 minutes after the first four orders because the waitress forgot (You heard me he wrote it down and still forgot). The alcohol drink was okay but the FOUNTAIN DRINK tasted FUNNY (smelled like creek water) I'm pretty sure it was the water that the syrup had to be mixed with. It's was such a small room they tried to cram seating for large parties it was okay until another large party came in That's when the problem of overcrowding came into play. If you want to have some good drinks THIS IS THE place to be, but if you just want to eat NOT THE PLACE TO BE (once you're drunk some people will eat anything).

Literally the best Mexican in Summerville. So sad I’m moving out of state. The food is always a hit, the workers are so kind and hard working. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll be back. And I’ll be dreaming about the carnitas here 🤤
