Community Thrift Store

Y’all are charging $99.99 for items that cost $59.99 BRAND NEW from target. Absolute insanity. I was expecting it to say $10-20 max. It’s a THRIFT STORE, for in case you needed reminding. I’ve been coming here for a decade+ but I never will again. Prices are insane recently and the store was half empty. I’ll be donating elsewhere too.

Wanted to buy a book bag for my child for daycare and he ripped the tag off in line literally right in front of the employee and part of the tag was still on it and they still refused to sell it….. I asked if the could pull the camera to prove to them that my son who is 1 ripped the tag off and I picked it up and they still said no…… customer service is almost non existent here and seems to me every cashier hates their job

I love this thrift store so much, but for the life of me I cannot understand why they have to write on everything. No other thrift store in the area does this so there is simply a better way. On glass I can understand because it’s very easy to clean off. But they write on wood pieces, ruining them. Cement pieces, ruining them. And it took me almost 2 hours to get the writing off of a ceramic dish set. If you HAVE to write on the items, can we at least utilize common sense when doing so please?

Tag falls off a jacket right next to the register as my girlfriend tries it on. She loves it, we take both to the register, cashier walks it down to her boss, comes back and tosses it in the bin… doesn’t say a word about it. I said can we not buy it? She said nope! I asked the boss, she said nope! Losing a customer over 1.50 is extremely sad. Employees are as rude as can be over items they get for free. Your mission is to help the “community” not send them home sad so you can stroke your ego. Really pathetic display of a human interaction, from both employees.

This place is amazing, clean and I find something every single time. Prices are great. I make a trip twice a week and they always have a great rotation of items each time.
